We arrived midday, and the heat was intense, so we weren't able to hike to many of the arches. Even so, we still saw a lot just from the viewpoints and shorter walks, it's stunning no matter how you experience it. One thing to note: parking at Devils Garden is very limited and can be difficult, especially later in the day. That area is one of the most popular spots in the park. Travel tips: * Go early--ideally at sunrise--and start at the far end (Devils Garden), then work your way back toward the entrance * Bring plenty of water (more than you think you need) * Wear proper shoes--the terrain is uneven and sandy * Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses are essential--the sun is strong and there's little shade * Check if timed entry reservations are required during peak season * Don't rush--plan stops and take your time at viewpoints, even if you're not hiking far Even with the heat limiting our hikes, this was an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely come back--next time earlier in the day!

The one star is for the potable water that is available. Although, I usually have to wait for someone to finish bathing and doing their laundry before I can fill my 5 gallon jug (yuck). Yes, tourism is a must here; but these slack lining, pot smoking, dog fetching, music blaring hippies do not seem to be very productive. So, remove the "no smoking, no dogs, no loitering" signs and embrace the SUCK. I'll gladly go elsewhere quite frankly...

At the arch we were able to enjoy solitude and took pictures without any human. Hike can be combined with Pinto arch. There is also Bowtie arch on the way to Corona arch, so this hike can be 3 archs in such a short distance. Loved it.

We had an amazing guide who was fun, engaging a knowledgeable about local wildlife and vegetation. After a vigorous but doable 1.5 mile hike we descended thru the canyons. I reluctantly recommend the tour because the house/history is amazing, but the tour itself desperately needs a new guide and at least double the time to enjoy it. The girl at the front that sold the tickets was a delight: she enthusiastically answered our questions and actually seemed to enjoy engaging with guests.
