This place is legit though, a true place where locals go and eat and have some beers. I knew it would be a great place when we walked in and there was a sign that said $1.25 PBR, that can not be beat. I picked up a friend who was on location and he said he heard from the landowner we needed to try this place. So we drove about 15 minutes on a country road that had no lights or anything, we then stumbled upon this place. Walking in there wasn't that many people there, a pool table in the back and the place was lit by neon signs. I had the cheeseburger on some type of bun that they have which was legit. A standard greasy cheeseburger that made the bun soggy. The PBR's were going down all too easy and I wanted to stay, but knowing that I was a city slicker and there was a high chance I'd get my ass kicked we decided to leave. I would definitely hit this place up again. Such good food and cold cold beer. Yee-haw y'all.

Love to come to Wagon Stop. We were in town visiting my brother who lives about a mile from WS and…read moreof course we have to have a hamburger at WS. We always see friends we know and usually make new friends while we're there. They usually have a special. Last nite it was brisket. I took a bite of my bros. delish!!!!! Comes w/2 sides. And one of them HAS to be the homemade german noodles. Hey, you're in German Czech country ya have to have homemade noodles. On Fri and Sat nites they have a band out back. Very cool. ( I use that word loosely in Texas in the summer) So, I'll finish talking about the burgers. They cook 'em up in back w/whatever you want on them and you can get it on a reg bun or jalapeno bun. They are so good and fresh and they're just an old fashioned hamurger. Just the way I like them. Oh and their ff are fried in peanut oil. They have cold beer (I'm told) and they have wine. Choice of red or white. That cracks me up. I like the "red". Gotta try it. You'll have to ask a local how to get there. Its in the boonies but worth it.

Both a mercantile of sundry goods and the center for Monaville fine dining, everyone should take the opportunity to come here. They have barbecue. The brisket was on the greasy side (I personally prefer mine a bit dry) and moist and came apart easily with a fork. The sausage was decent. They have a wide selection of deli sandwiches. Homestyle is how I would describe them: made from good deli ingredients how you would put it together at home. They did have some barbecue sandwiches which also looked delicious. They had pizza. In a Texas country store. I'm reminded of the Mexican restaurant I saw in Holland. Pass, thanks. The potato salad was some of the best I've ever had. I expected classic yellow potato salad; no, it was white with a creamy (as in sour?) light flavorful sauce. The potato flavor came through with tasty chunks of bacon. They may have put some other addictive substance in there because I'm craving it even now. They are well known for their pies, which are homemade. I was full but my companions had them and brought some home with them. They were single serving pan pies. So if you are ever in Monaville check it out! ***WARNING: the store is mislocated on google/yelp...it's 3 miles east of the map at the intersection***

The tea is fresh and good quality. The food is cooked fresh to order so expect a little wait. Unfortunately, we found the burgers to be rather dry and not tender and juicy, like there wasn't enough fat in the beef. The beefy flavor was excellent, though, and it was well seasoned. These half pounders are ginormous and two people could share one. The fries were obviously freshly made and flavorwise were tasty, but they weren't crispy :( I might try this place again sometime as there's a lot going for it and I like to support small local businesses. When I'm in the area, I always got to tap in! Since I've actually been to Mexico, this place definitely reminds me of my time there. Sweet Breads, Chicharrones, Tortillas de maíz made from scratch and the lady who's been working there forever that only speaks Spanish. Good thing I know how to speak Spanish and every time I do she hook up my tacos. This particular time I got 6 tacos, 1 pollo, 3 pastor, & 2 fajita. I usually get the Barbacoa, but this day they didn't have it made, but mannnn that barbacoa is like somebodies Abuela made it. The nostalgia hit me so much I forgot to take photos of my tacos! I always get my tacos with the Mexican Rice, frijoles (the Frijoles are top 3 best I've ever had) onion and cilantro. With there green and red salsas on the side. (Hella good) All of them straight smack. They never skimp you on the portions either, it's to the point where it's like a mountain of meat that overflows over then tortilla itself. Tap in!!!!
