The Capt was AMAZING! He gave my husband a small sample cruise to see if he get sea sick before the cruise. ( only beverages it was the last of the day and he had time) Once on the vessel the entertainment was flawless. They both were so knowledgeable and quick to share what they knew with the passengers. Then we see the BEAUTIFUL DOLPHINS!!! Oh what a sight! Did you know if you clap at them they'll swim towards you? I didn't either, but that's something the Capt. taught us and they really did come closer!! I strongly encourage anyone and EVERYONE to use this cruise over the OTHER one who seemed to have a bit of an attitude. So much so that we just let them keep the money we paid them 2 days earlier because their reservation techniques were so difficult we couldn't figure it out and they simply wouldn't call me to walk me thru it, instead they chose to text me and get snarky about things. This was my FIRST time ever to fish! I was so excited to go, and Buccaneer Cruises was outstanding in providing a safe and fabulous experience!! The Chief Master Captain (Omar) was very knowledgeable and personable!! The ride was sooth and he would tell when to watch for dolphin and different information about about the fishing areas. His mate was named (Izzy) and he taught me how to bait the hook and removed all of my catches!! He stated that I caught (1) trout , (2) ribbon fish and (1) fish that you used as bait!! He was so funny and enjoyed having him with me!! I could not believe he lucky I was to catch ANYTHING!! When we come back to Port Aransas, our group will ABSOLUTELY use Buccaneers again!! read more

We had a great time on our dolphin watching tour! Jeff and Mike were both incredibly friendly and engaging throughout the trip. They really made an effort to make sure everyone was having a good time. Their enthusiasm added a lot to the overall experience. We were lucky enough to spot some dolphins, which made the trip even more memorable. It was such a fun and relaxing outing, and the crew played a big part in that. We had the best time bay fishing. The Captain and his crew Mike were awesome. Mike was there to help us with the rod and reels, and the fish we caught. He had a great personality and was very personalable. The captain was great with the all the fisherman and especially the the younger fisherman. Great experience! It was the first mate Izze's first time as co-captain. He locked in on the dolphin area where we were entertained by several pods of bottle nosed dolphins. The captain was very personal and helped passengers to the front of the ship to look over as dolphins were riding the waves. Great fishing boat experience. None of us really caught anything to brag about; mostly very small throwbacks, stingrays, etc. However, some of our party had never been fishing so it was a lot of fun for all us just watching them get excited about catching something. Spent a delightful time with friends cruising the bay. Very peaceful and a nice change from the sand and surf of the beach. The crew entertained us with stories and the sea breeze cooled our sunburned faces. The sunset from this vantage point was beautiful. Captain Rafael and first mate Jesse are awesome. We went on the first trip after the tropical storm. A relaxing trip with lots of birds and a beautiful sunset. Went back with my daughter a couple of days later and the experience was just as good despite the much larger number of people. read more
