Took my 2021 Audi A6 to the Glenrothes branch, after they started washing my car they held the lance about a foot from.my car to the point I seen my drivers window flexing to the point I thought it would shatter, later I inspected the car and seen that they had blasted the paint off rhe lower skirt of my car. I returned to the premise where I was told on broken english that it was like that when I had arrived, I would add at this point it's a 2021 car without even a scratch on it, an argument ensued and the owner shouting that what was I expecting and if I put a complaint on Social media that I eould be banned from all their car wash sites and at that point he took pictures and a video of myself and my car and told to watch my back... dont go near these cowboys. Honorific and VERY bad service. Went for a full valet at £50 + £10 for engine steam clean and got my car damaged back. Front left airbag showed a fault in the board computer when I collected my car from them after the valet. I wish I would have never gone there. Total nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had to take time off work and get it diagnosed at Mercedes for £59 plus loan car costs + fuel and have to pay now almost £500 in repair costs for a passenger seat sensor Bubbles Car Wash in Edinburgh Leith damaged during the valet. So that valet cost me almost £700 now to start with.... Great!! I complained to the car wash manager Assam Younas about it in writing and by email and never heard back about my claim. Will take them now to Edinburgh Sheriff court to the small claims court and will pay solicitors to do so, and will also report them to trading standards too and have to get a expert witness engineer report asap too. These guys are ace. I always come here to get my car washed even though I now live in Musselburgh. They have loads of reasonably priced options. I have a 4x4 and it costs me £5.50 for a really decent wash. They also have a loyalty card scheme where your 7th wash is free! There's usually a queue of a couple of cars but I wouldn't let this put you off because it moves down quickly. It just shows how many others are on the same wavelength with this place.
