Was visiting from out of town and stopped at this car wash bc DS down the street had an exceptionally long line all the way out on Transit Rd. Bubbly Boy also had a line but the 10 cars in front of us seemed to be moving OK. To speed things up an attendant walked up to the cars in line and took orders and then came back with receipts. The car wash itself was very good, the water seemed clear & clean and the suds were plentiful. The best part of this car wash was the crew of towel attendants at the end, they hand dried each car in a thorough and complete manner. That included hand drying each wheel and all the spokes. I went here based on a friend's recommendation. I got the standard wash for eighteen dollars. The actual machine wash part is fine, but the hand drying at the end was pretty sloppy. There were water streaks all over my windows. It does the job of getting the car clean, but the finishing touches are lacking, especially when you factor in the total cost. The detailers were very fastidious and conscientious in making sure windows were spotless, door jambs & rocker panels shined, and tires/ wheels gleamed. I did a bad thing. A Curious George disaster thing. I spray painted my fence in proximity to my Honda Civic. It got covered with paint dust and left a rough residue that even acetone couldn't fully get off, but then left the car slimy and rough and the clear plastic accents cloudy, and the black window frames stained My car was a disaster, and I ruined it. So. I read the online reviews and went to Bubble Boy in Amherst. I left the car for the day, and boy, did it take them most of the day! They had to clay bar the residue off *for hours* before they could buff and wax. And shampoo the interior. And shine up all the plastic. And magically disappear of ALL THE SCRATCHES. This is the third time I've brought my vehicle here to be washed. The entire process from beginning to end is so pleasant! The day I went most recently was pretty busy with a line extending halfway to the road, which is still much shorter than the line at the place down the road. The guy who was working the pay station ran out to each vehicle as it pulled up to ask what the customers wanted, take their payments, and get them set up so that all they had to do when it was their turn was drive in to the car wash. I was pretty impressed by this. What a great way to show your customers you care! There are three options for your car wash, and each one is affordable and does the job. This particular day, we went with the big spender package & left with a nice, clean car. There were three lines set up for drying, but only one person doing the work at each station. I wasn't incredibly impressed by the dry-off, but it was still better than what's down the road. I was sure to tip my guy well for his hard work regardless. This is the only reason I took off a star - but nobody seems to clean/dry around the bottom of the vehicle. Not just this place. There were a lot of cars parked there for the detail service, but I haven't yet taken them up on that option. I would love to see what they can do with the interior & exterior on a detail job. That is by appointment only, though, and I never think about it. Of course, I'm thinking about it now, so maybe I'll see what they have available! read more

This was the most thorough car wash and dry that I've ever had. Before getting into the automatic wash area, the attendant walked around my truck and sprayed away the winter's worth of yuck. I've always opted for the Platinum Detail which includes the following for $229.00: Wash, Vacuum, Shampoo interior, trunk & Mats Glaze vehicle & remove most scratches, tar, & bugs. Hand paste wax, Engine cleaned, Leather treated, Vinyl clean & shined, Windows cleaned in & out, Door jambs cleaned and polished, Scent. Every time I've ever picked up my vehicle after detailing, it's always been superb! You can rely on the job having been done thoroughly, like if you did it yourself! From drop off to pick up it's about 3-5 hours. We just drop off the vehicle in the morning and pick it back up in the evening, it's simple and reliable. I dropped off my 2019 Jeep Rubicon this morning, May11, 2022, to have the platinum detail package. The paint on my Jeep was pristine, and I had the ceramic coating added after I purchased it to keep it scratch free. I left it in one of the parking spaces around 0800 and left the keys with one of the workers trusting it was in good hands. I came back this afternoon and before I even got out of the vehicle dropping me off, I could see the paint had been completely scratched off on the top of the rim above the driver side wheel. I immediately got out and started taking pictures of my vehicle, expecting the owner to come out with a simple apology and an offer to take care of it. Instead a little man walked out and immediately began telling me how the damage was already there when I dropped it off, while informing me that his general manager had pictures as proof it was already there. When he finally came up for air, I called his bluff and asked him to show me the picture with the time stamp. Of course, the general manager no longer had the picture, as he now began insisting I must have damaged it at Delta Sonic because I have a Delta Sonic sticker on my Jeep. I was then forced to pay this character $350 for damaging my Jeep and then lying, just to get the money out of me! What a way to honor the combat Veterans among us who support this business. Never again! I went there every year and gave them my business, even recommending them, and this is the thanks I get. Great prices with a 3 or 5 day wash guarantee depending on what package you buy. I went with the "big spender" which was $15 with the 5 day guarantee. Since it's March in Buffalo it's nice to have a few extra days to get a second wash in. You can go down a package which is $10 and still get the under spray with a 2 day guarantee. The reason why I came here Was because I HATE waiting in line for the other car wash way down transit because you sometimes have to wait in the street to even turn into the parking lot. Luckily, here if even they have a long line it goes fairly quirkily and wraps around the way back building so no awkward waiting in the road even though you just need a car wash. Great, LOCALLY OWNED car wash! They really go the extra mile to scrub all of the scum off your car. I had a goose explode it's digestive system all over the front of my car. We took our car for a full detail and they did an amazing job. We are pretty picky and were prepared to find some misses - crumbs in a crack or two could happen. Nope! The 8 yr old car looks like new. Tip: the engine cleaning is an upcharge, but worth it if you really want to feel like your car got a face lift. Be aware: they have to leave the car doors open to let the car dry. They had to give us a jump bc the battery died. No biggie. But our engine light came on from the jump and the manager called us a couple of days later to make sure the light had gone off. Super thorough! read more
