Bad Service I can tell you that it actually wasn't bad service, we never had a wait staff approach us at a high top table in the bar area for over 15 minutes! Two employees tending bar made eye contact, and just never did anything to get us a server! An employee went behind the bar to stock a shelf item and left. After I asked for a manager, that individual who went behind the bar, who was in addition to the two bar tenders, was the manager! The manger even saw us sitting at our table and no wait staff for over 15 minutes! What a waste of time and we will never return. read more

We were excited to try a new place. Decor and atmosphere looked to be fun and uplifting. Service started out poor and went downhill from there. This was Saturday night and they were busy, not overwhelmed, the food was OK, but nothing exceptional. We had an issue with the bill (in our favor as we were not billed for two of the four meals). Our server insisted it was correct, took the credit card. When the server returned for us to sign, the additional meals had been added on to the credit card (the amount doubled). Since we wanted to pay for the meals, we had no issue with this aside from there had been no mention of the adjustment by the server. We felt this was very nonprofessional. We asked to see the manager to explain that had we not pushed back on our server, we would have walked out not paying for our meals. We explained to the manager what happened and that we were not looking for anything free, we wanted no discount, but we felt the experience was sub-par. We explained that we felt it was important to tell the manager of a new establishment what our experience was and let them know they had room for improvement. Both couples at the table have run successful businesses for over 30 years. It was clear to us the manager could care less about our experience. I can get over a bad server at a restaurant; I can't get over management that doesn't care. It's really a shame as I was looking forward to exploring the menu in a new place. read more

Our first time we were not disappointed - as we are making it a Tuesday date night every week. Which also happens to be $9.99 pizza night. The pizza is simply amazing. The crust is thin and coated with garlic butter and corn meal. The crust is easy to chew - not hard at all. Had the Bubbas 33 it was delicious and our most recent visit we tried the Philly Steak pizza. The music was not too loud and the selection was great. There are tv's that show the video for the song playing. Everywhere you look there is a different TV showing different sporting events. The staff is super friendly. The place is clean. I've been wanting to eat here for a while but always forgot about it. We finally came here for dinner. My dog's name is Bubba so it was that much more exciting to dine here. My fiancé ordered hickory chipotle with raspberry glaze wings which he couldn't eat because they were super spicy for him.. the menu doesn't mention that it's spicy so that was a surprise. He ordered fillet steak pizza and thought it was really good. I ordered kale and quinoa salad (what I called non existent kale.. and quinoa salad) with a side of sweet potato fries. Their sweet potato fries were really good. The salad was good however there was no kale in there whatsoever and that was the main reason why I ordered it considering it's a kale and quinoa salad. Our waitress was not good at all. She completely disappeared. I noticed the waiters would group together a lot and have conversations which is fine but at least provide decent service. The manager came to our table to inform him about my salad and he was kind enough to knock it off the bill. We plan on returning to give this place another try especially because their food is good. Very fun new burger place! My fiance and are huge sports fans and this place is wall to wall with screens with different games and channels. The only downfall is that if you want to have some good quality time with your significant other or children it is very easy to get distracted and just mindlessly watch TV the whole time. We tried their Hawaiian pizza and it was good but it was nothing special like they describe it to be on the menu. We also tried the cheese twist appetizer and they were delicious! What a unique twist to cheese sticks. We had a wonderful server who was perfectly attentive. and the prices were fair. All around great experience and we will definitely be back soon! read more

We visited Bubba's 33 over a year ago - when then first opened up. It is our go to restaurant for a wide variety of food choices. We enjoyed the "music tv's" - THE "CHIVE" TVS - and all the different sporting games on the various tvs. The food is top notch - and the staff, all the way from the Greeter to the Managers is like no other we have seen. If something isn't to your liking, just alert your server and they will make it right on the spot. Their Mojitos are my favorite! The pizza's are like no other! I could go on and on - but you just need to try it for yourself. They even have call ahead seating. read more

Just went there last night for the first time with a buddy and decided to sit at the bar. The two of us were immediately greeted by the bartender Steph who was fantastic all night. She recommended one of their handtossed pizzas, and while I'm normally a thick crust kind of guy, I went with the meaty meaty option. My friend got wings that He said were the best he's had in a long time. It was all really good. But before all that, I just want to point out the great beer selection on tap. They have a couple locals, imports, and seasonsals on tap. Way better than just the typical bud-bud lite you find everywhere. They have a million TVs there and will put just about any game you ask for on. Steph was extremely helpful about everything and was funny as hell to joke with. The reviews were not wrong! This place is awesome seemed great for a burger and beer while watching a game or fight. I went on Tuesday which turned out to be 9.99$ pizzas we each got a pizza. Melisa (sorry if I spelled wrong) was just awesome... very attentive, gave suggestions on the menu asked us if it was our first time (which it was...won't be the last)let us know everything on the menu was made in house super awesome! Everything my husband and I have tried here is excellent- pizza, wings, burgers. But the onion rings are by far the best we have ever had! They seriously melt in your mouth. And the Bubba sauce that comes with them makes them even better. It's a Smokey barbecue sauce that is to die for. We go here at least once a month and I've never had a bad meal or experience here. I wanted to like this place and looked super forward to the opening. My husband ordered a beer and since the computer was down we waited 20 minutes for just the beverage. I ordered the bacon burger and ordered it well done. After another 25 minutes we received our order only to find the burger wasn't well but medium if that. After sending it back to have them redo it. I waited another 20 minutes. The worst part is I had at least 4 people stop by the table and tell me they prioritized the order when they didn't. Sure it's out of a can and made someplace else then you can call this a 7. Next on the list is the Pizza. Ok here is where I have a clear vision of what's good and what's not. After owning 3 pizzerias and worked on marketing local and national brands I can present the following. Michigan is the home of some of the best pizza in the world! As well the origin of 4 of the nations largest Pizza chains. Not in any order but to prove my point see the following. Dominio's, Little Cesar, Hungry Howies, and Jets. Not that any of these are great Pizza but we are a Pizza eating public. So, not to brag about Michigan but here are some truly great pizzas that are all local all wonderful and made local and fresh. Green Lantern (King of Pepperoni), Cloverleaf ( original Detriot deep dish), Crispellits (Traditional Italian fire oven), Pizza Nostalgia, Tomatoes and many Mom and Papa, places the will please any true pizza lover's craving. First time here! Wait time was only 15min. Service was spot on and our waitress was more then helpful with many suggestions, she was really nice. Appetizers, we got the onion rings they were great and didn't break off like most are expected too. The drinks were on point as well, I had the $4 bubba Long Island. Dinner was decent, I wanted steak and all they had was either a 14oz or 19oz ribeye not much of a selection but I knew coming to a bar/ burger pizza joint the odds were against me:/ I asked for med well and I got a pure medium cooked steak. My bf got the signature Bubba burger and he said nothing special about it compared to a Red Robin burger :/ so it was "meh" and he's a burger fanatic. The sports bar atmosphere is definitely cool but I really don't like "yell talking" when I'm just trying to have a normal dinner. I would only come here for a reg bar night with friends/ coworkers or if you have 10 screaming kids this would be the right place to take them lol. Very good food, but over priced. Their drinks are very expensive. I won't go there again. They don't take reservations and we had a party of 12 and we were told they could not seat us together. They tried to sit us in two medium and on small booth that would not work. Then they said they had a table for us, but wait someone else already took it. I was very upset with them. We just left this place as first timers. It was 3pm on a Sunday and we waited 10 minutes. The hostesses were super friendly and sweet upon arrival. Our server Jared came and got drink orders and made sure to offer us waters with our cocktails. Smart guy! Drinks were amazing. We had long islands, midnight train lemonade and a blue ocean. All were excellent! We got the chorizo queso and onion rings too. The queso was fabulous. It comes with a spicy salsa that was also amazing. Chips are seasoned and warm. The queso itself wasn't spicy but the chorizo and pico made it just so. The onion rings were perfectly seasoned and piping hot. Served with ranch and bubbas sauce (a tangy BBQ/ranch kind of stuff). For dinner we all picked off each other. We ordered a bacon burger with fries, chicken tenders with tots and a wedge, veggie pizza, and aloha chicken with fries and house salad. Every single thing was delicious!!! I didn't need to season. Ranch was perfect and not salty. House salad had eggs which I loved. The wedge was also amazing. The pizza was SO hot and tasted awesome, too!! Chicken tenders were crispy and tots were, too. I cannot say enough good things about all of the food, the service, and manager Pepe.
