I really question the integrity of this contractor. I would not hire this person for any other job…read morein the future and I regret hiring him for this job. He did about 85% of the work at a somewhat passable level, but not with the attention to detail that I value in a drywaller. He told me he was finished and that I would just have to put on some joint compound to finish it, but that's what I hired the drywaller for to put up the sheetrock, tape, mud and sand it to a level where I can paint it - not to a level where I have to put on more joint compound. So I'm left having to complete a job this weekend when I thought I would simply just have to paint and be finished. There are rounded corners on wall, holes, screwtops not covered, and in my garage a gaping hole. When I noted the areas I wanted improved, he would not fix it, and demanded to be paid. In the past on our home remodel when I've done final walk-throughs with other contractors, plumbers, and electricians they remedied promptly any issues of concern. This was one of the smallest contracting jobs we've had done on our house and unfortunately the worst experience. He was so rude and smug at the end of the job. I felt threatened and I had to ask him to leave my property after paying him. Such a horrible experience.

Lots to say stuff to say here, for some background I've been in construction for 17 years doing…read morecommercial electrical and seen a lot of construction. I got 6 quotes for my back patio and after talking to Adan and hearing his story about getting his life together and finding God I thought maybe this was the right guy. He wasn't the cheapest guy but he did offer some things that others weren't so we went with him. He delayed the start of the work twice because of rain (which only matters for the concrete pour) then on his first day here he calls me and tells me it's going to be $700 more than what we talked about and I told him no. He drove away and I sent him his quote he gave me saying clear as day that what I said what the truth which made him apologize and go back, from that point I had lots of doubts. His first day he worked for 4 hours cutting up some grass and doing half the forms, the next day I told him I'd be home early to go over stuff and he again worked just 4 hours pouring gravel packing it down and finishing forms. When I got home at 1230pm I told him I had concerns about the stairs as he only put one step up to our back door which left a 9" drop off from the door threshold (dangerous for anyone walking out the door and looked horrible) he never returned to address it till the day of the pour but before that he wanted me to cut wood trim and siding around the back of my house with nothing laid out and just gave me a rough idea over the phone. I also had to install flashing for the cement on the underside of my door (something he probably should have done) mind you he is only 35 mins away. As for the day of the pour they kicked butt that's the truth but I will say this I was told I'd get color in my stairs and they didn't do it they also said they'd do a center line to our patio with stamp and color and they didn't do that and when it came time for the bill they did not honor the price we agreed to because of more "taxes" than we had taIked about I understand taxes but when you tell someone a price and then decide oh that doesnt count for tax it's a big surprise. I think overall the work was good but the communication and customer service was some of the worst I've ever seen and to me that matters. I would not recommend using them unless you get a very detailed quote form with a solid final price and don't be surprised if you do some of the work yourself. It's a shame cause I had high hopes for this experience based on stuff I had read but that's probably because he asks you multiple times to leave a good review on his website. Hope that helps somebody wish I had seen this review before I called them.

Mind blown by how hard Alex and his crew worked!!!…read more We just recently moved into a house where the previous tenants were very lax on their landscaping (that's putting it lightly). The bushes next to the driveway were overgrown, making it hard to get in and out of the house. The neighbor's grape vines were draping all the way to the floor of our yard. And the worst part was this goliath wall of trees/bushes that completely blocked the pathway into the backyard. It was huge!!!! A serial killer could have been hiding in there! We dialed NF Landscaping, and Alex came out for a quote literally the next day. Their pricing was extremely competitive, and they were also able to schedule us in for the same week! When they arrived, they tackled the job with extreme gusto. I couldn't believe how much they did in such a little amount of time. Alex was able to cut everything down with just one extra person!!! He's a super human bushwhacking tree cutting machine!!! Extremely satisfied with Alex and NF Landscaping. Please take a look at the before and after photos. The difference is literally night and day (the huge wall of greenery was literally blocking the sunlight for one of our downstairs bedrooms).

He gave me a flat rate of $150 on Yelp and we set a time for two days later. Day of, he asked me "How much were you looking to pay to have this removed?" after getting pictures of the storage unit. Because of this I ask a different company for a quote through email, they tell me an quick estimate of $119 min load, or a max of $159. He arrived an hour late. He moved the items while I was outside setting up Venmo because he wouldn't take card or Paypal. I paid him $150 through Venmo and he left. Next day get a call from the property manager that my stuff was in the hallway. I start another 3 hour roundtrip to grab these items. The mover, when told about this says it isn't him. After I inform him the cameras were checked his phone line and yelp phone line disconnect. (The loud beeping kind) Because I paid through Venmo, a refund was impossible. I leave a review on yelp and inform the mover I am starting a small claims case. I get a call later where he offers a refund if I take down my review. I discuss the situation with him and he says it wasn't him, but he won't refund without the review being gone, so I refuse. He insults me and then disconnects his line again. Afterwards I get a refund. The mover still says it wasn't him and says either I or the other unit owner who was there at the time did this.

After accepting the quote, which was very reasonable and slightly under the competition, I was astonished with how fast they were able to do the actual work, especially in the current high demand market for landscaping in Seattle!
