I had an extremely disappointing experience at this beauty supply store and salon. The owner and…read morethe stylist were both unprofessional, rude, and completely unwilling to take accountability or fix their mistakes. Let me also add this style was $150, which was an over charge for just a style! b/c her locs had already been cleaned and retwisted. I brought my cousin in for a prom hairstyle and showed them exactly what we wanted. At first they said no to the braided style, so we changed the style (reference photos below). The first attempt of the Loc style was poorly done and looked nothing like the style we requested. When I returned and showed them the results, instead of acknowledging the issue, the owner dismissed it and said "it looks good," which it absolutely did not, as you can see below! They then said they would try to recreate the original style, so I gave them another chance. Unfortunately, the stylist was unsuccessful again!! She struggled to create a simple petal bun design. saying her hair wasn't thick enough for the style, even though my cousin locs are thick and mid-back length--more than enough to achieve the look properly. What's most frustrating is not just the lack of listen, but the lack of effort and professionalism. This was for prom, an important event, and they treated it like it didn't matter. There was no real attempt to fix the issue or make things right. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service, especially for important occasions

What I won't say is good is me being 9 months pregnant and having to go back to the salon because the woman that did my hair chopped my ends sloppy and even after going back didn't properly seal them. I'm giving up this time because I'm less than two weeks from my due date as I've explained to them several times but even if I wasn't pregnant or close to my due date, no one should to keep coming back after spending money to fix something that shouldn't be an issue in the first place. I also asked for box braids, not knotless and somehow ended up with knotless braids. Again due to being pregnant I don't have the energy to get my service redone but this was my first unprofessional experience at this salon and making me debate if I should ever go back and keep recommending it to people. There's no reason to be rushing, especially if you know it looks a mess.
