My overall experience was good. I had and order that needed to done within a week before my travel date which was accommodated by the shop and greatly appreciated. Drop off and pickup went smoothly and EMBROIDERY looked presentable except for one small issue. The thread that I picked for my project came out much lighter than it presented itself on the spool which caused the names to only be visible at a close up distance. I've used B's several times but the time they impressed me most was the one time a gift I had ordered had pictures not done exactly to my specifications. I started a project with this company for a jacket. I originally brought my own reflective material (due to the fact they had nothing/weren't able to find something like this) to begin work on a motorcycle jacket. I was told it was possible but when I came in again after they called to tell that the machine could not create a cut out of the design I wanted only a stamp I asked to just get the entire emblem stitched in. They said that was possible to do for sure. When I returned for my jacket they had only done the outline when we had had a mutual understanding of what I wanted, which was the entire emblem. Needless to say when I asked if I could get the rest filled in they said it wouldn't be possibly anymore and that I would have a to bring a new jacket, unfortunately my jacket is well over $300 dollars. So I took it home telling myself it looks great but reality is, it's not what I wanted. I'm very disappointed and upset at how everything turned out. I already paid in full and wish I hadn't. I had a horrible experience here as an employee. I believe i was fired unfairly & that the owners Beth and Bob treated me poorly. They hired me in the beginning of May & agreed to pay me $16/hr as a full time Graphic Artist also doing Print Production and more. i had a week of training and felt like everything was going great until I started to notice weird comments Beth would make to me, once about my passport not sufficing (false) & then about our work; any mistakes made were solely my fault, according to her, and she got extra particular about the way she wanted me, specifically, to do things. Shelly, the office manager, was amazing and treated me very kindly and respectful, as i believe i did to her. Caesar, the embroiderer, and Letty, were very kind and hard working. They never once had a complaint about me or treated me the way both Beth and her husband did. Once, i got sick and they acted strangely towards me when i had to call out 1 day. i told her i would be in the rest of the days but she insisted that i don't come. I was confused and began to see the employee (she was very nice too), who i had replaced, coming around a lot more to "help train" me, even though she thought i was getting the hang of things very well, as did i. If anything it caused more chaos and confusion having two people do things at once. i found out later (when Beth and Bob took me into their office for the last time) that Beth didn't want me to come in because she "couldn't pay everyone." Since she hired me to be a full-time employee, that made no sense to me, and seemed strange. I felt unwanted, like Beth & Bob maybe just couldn't pay me what they agreed to so they wanted to take some of my hours or possibly get rid of me. Beth constantly brought her personal life into work and took it out on me even when i was doing everything well. Since i was new they had someone to blame, and they never once told me i was doing a good job. I let them both continue to make me feel like shit for mistakes and mishaps that were not my fault, and was given no chances to redeem myself to them since they tried to have the other girl come in & do my work. I thought i was doing a great job; even my coworkers seemed to like having me around to help. My last day of work i came in at 8:55am & started working right away. Around 11am they called me into that office, and i already knew something weird was going to happen. Beth told me that i wasn't trustworthy because i MADE AN EMPTY FOLDER in the "Customer Files" with my own name on it. She said i uploaded something as well but i did not. I did not touch the folder again after that day. Both her and Bob said that i could be fired because i did this. (The reason i even did it, like two weeks after my first day, was because i got excited & wanted to eventually buy something from them to have it made. I never intended to do this without permission, and frankly it would have been impossible for me to.) When i said i was sorry, i wouldn't do it again, & started to say how i felt that was unfair, Bob lost control. He said i was arguing and being disrespectful, when i was not, and said to my face, "I do not care what you think, this is OUR business. i'm done this isn't going to work out" & walked out. Even though this was my first time hearing about this rule of theirs. I said i was just confused & felt a lot of unnecessary stress. After this happened Beth and Bob proceeded to fire me, give me my last two checks, & Beth made me stand outside their building waiting for my ride for 15 minutes in the hot sun. It all seems so insane to me. I was treated so poorly by them. I did not once disrespect anyone there. I do not recommend going to B's, but if you do please remember that the employees are amazing. The owners are not. I really wanted to work there and felt like i could fit in but they showed me they do not know how to treat their employees, especially new ones & i don't want this too happen to anyone else. I will never again go to B's for anything, nor will I recommend B's to anyone! On 2/10/2017, I paid $250 for them to alter the artwork for my existing club patches and re-digitze them. They told me it would take 2 weeks and it's been 45 days and they still didn't do the job I paid them to do. I was also told that I was gonna be charged an extra $50 to correct mistakes they made, which I agreed to pay because I needed to get my patches done... Every time I called or went in personally I was given an excuse as to why it wasn't done. Every time I talked to them I was asked again what it is exactly that I wanted done, even tho every time I talked to them I explained it again, and they were supposedly taking notes, and when I went in there in person each time I watched them take notes... Today, (3/29/2017), I was told that the artwork they sent me was the "best they could do", (even tho it looks worse now than it did the last time they supposedly "fixed" it and sent me the preview). I was told that I have 3 options: A I can take it as is, and have the patches made as with the artwork they sent me, (even tho it isn't to my satisfaction or our agreement), B I can take the artwork to someone else and have them fix it, and then bring it back to B's so they can re-digitize it, (which would entail me payin someone else more money to do the artwork I already paid B's to do). C If I'm not completely satisfied I can get a full refund The owner, Beth, (which is who the B in B's embroidery stands for), got an attitude with me and wanted to argue with me because Ai wanted her to fix my design and do it properly. It was a HORRIBLE experience and I would never advise anyone to go there!!! What's worse is she came highly recommended by a good friend who did business with her for years.
