Very rude unprofessional people. The whole staff is atrocious. They yell at customers. I personally have been overcharged. They treat the customers like they're nothing can I'm a licensed cosmetologist. I used to recommend people to this shop the benefit of the doubt from hearing people's complaints. until I experienced the nastiness firsthand . I will never shop there or recommend people to come to the store. read more

B's Beauty Supply - Was overcharged and they got hostile and yelling like I was making it up. - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Aurora, Illinois

Excellent Service! And it's great to find a Black owned beauty supply in the area. They had great suggestions and were very friendly and helpful. Lots of great options for hair and products. I'll be back! Come support this small business. read more

Checked out B's for the second time, the first time I was in a rush so I couldn't give an honest opinion of the place. This time I stopped in with my little man to pick up some natural hair and skin care products. I was happy to find real raw shea butter amongst all of the refined shea products. I was also on the hunt for some real cocoa butter for blemishes, they didn't have any unrefined cocoa butter but I grabbed a couple of 100% percent cocoa butter sticks and a few hair products. Overall all the selection at B's is MASSIVE, from skincare to makeup to weave products, its all there and competitively priced as well. There is also a braid technician onsite to do all of your braiding or african inspired hairstyles. The place is owned by a nice family from west africa and they are pretty knowledgeable about their products. read more

I went in to buy braiding hair today despite the negative reviews. I found that this is a great place to go. The owner and her nephew are very friendly! I found the hair that I was looking for along with some great hair products. If you live in and around the area and need beauty supplies, I would definitely advise you to go in. The prices are very reasonable and the place is nice and neatI will be going back in the near future! Thank you Ms. B's and God bless you and your business! read more

I recently moved to Aurora and I couldnt find any beauty supplies or salons for etnic hair. Luckily, I found this beauty supply. (Although, they were rude over the phone, I went to their store anyway.., I was curious as to what they had). It's big with an endless selection of hair both both synthetic hair and human hair for braiding and sew-in's. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. Plus, they have hair-braiders available that they recommend. I called them, they were local, and they braided my hair the same day. They were fast and friendly. My braids are neat and professional. I am very satisfied with my hair. read more

Just left here and felt compelled to review . I'll never visit again . They have more skin whitening products than they do hair products , despicable for a black owned store . The man who was working today was very unfriendly . Overall extremely disappointed in this business . read more

STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!! This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. I'm upset that I had to even give them one star. I have never in my life had such a disturbing experience. I had went in there and bought a few things and spent around $150, I got home and realized the gel that I bought was completely dried out. (There were cracks all throughout and was very apparent that it wasn't closed tight enough) So I went back a couple days later and I went in very happy with my receipt and my defective product not thinking anything of it....I told them I would rather get one that wasn't dried out or my money back. The store owner, the Ghanaian man, FREAKED OUT on me. Started yelling at me and told me that that's how the product is supposed to be and that he's not going to do anything about it. He showed me a box of the same products and they were all dried out, instead of calling the manufacturer and getting new ones, he went crazy on me like it was my fault. I was so calm and showing him pictures of how it's supposed to look and he said NO. So he called the POLICE and told them to get me out of his store like I was trash. I patiently waited and the police officer even admitted that it was dried out but he couldn't force the store owner to give me anything he doesn't want me to. I have never been so embarrassed and disgusted in my life. Please stick with Lee's beauty supply if you're in Aurora. I will never in my life go here again. read more

Horrible customer service. I will never visit this place again. The owners are very rude and unprofessional to customers.

the woman that works here seems nice, however there is a grouchy guy I guess maybe her husband neither are very warm and fuzzy but will answer a question if asked. There isn't any true customer service, you generally have to grab them from their seat to get assistance. The store on the other hand laid out rather well and is well stocked and clean. Prices are pretty competitive considering there isn't much competition. The shop in the back is down right extortionist. The prices are high, service is slow and again not too warm and fuzzy. Aurora has a long way to go in terms of beauty supply offerings. This will just have to do for now. read more

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU GET OR YOU LIKE TO BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT. They have horrible customer service they don't explain their policy's to first time customers. I experienced horrible communication with them, she was rude and didn't care about the customer service side. She apparently did not want anymore customers anymore. I tried to return a product (clip ins) and informed her that this was my first time buying hair and she showed me both products when I checked out she didn't tell me anything about non refundables. I tried calling her back BC I was unhappy with the product and she hung up on me twice. So I had to go In there and she didn't offer me any options at all. read more

Although they have a huge variety of things, the lady at the store was a bit unprofessional she was on the phone with a personal call the entire time. read more

I've been going here since I moved to the area. Someone on the Metra referred them to me. The young ladies here are very helpful with selecting products. They also tell you the truth if it's a product that won't for you. I get everything I need here. read more

I ordered this shea butter All the way in Hawaii I absolutely love my product I use it for my locs and skin thank you Mrs Bofah!

I've visited this store in the past a few times and it was okay but after today, I will NEVER give business to this beauty supply again. The female african owner accused me of trying to go past her counter when I was simply trying to get a closer look at the small printed prices on the hair!!!! Not once was I anywhere past her counter! She totally insulted me and therefore lost what could have been a great regular costumer! Store is clean and organized but customer service needs much more better work! You can't run a business and treat customers like s---! read more
