Amazing, thoughtful, honest. After a head to toe inspection, they tuned my 1972 C10 to perfection. Highly recommended!

Took my truck to have the AC checked. Took only one day. Didn't try to replace everything, just fixed what was needed .

Within two weeks of their work, the tread on BOTH rear tires separated from the belts. Was it their fault? The answer seems obvious--judge for yourself: * Timing + duplication = common cause. Two identical failures, on the same vehicle, right after one service event, point to (1) a shared condition introduced, or (2) factory-installed tires that were already failing and weren't detected during an alignment/rotation. The odds of both tires--less than halfway through their usable life--failing identically by chance at the same time are astronomical. Not detecting failing tires during an alignment/rotation is gross incompetence. Either would be a case of Stroeher's dropping the ball--with potentially deadly consequences. * They controlled the risk factors. The service manager (Lane) insisted "nothing we did could have caused it." During alignment/rotation a shop sets tire pressures, handles mounting/beads, torques lugs, and evaluates tire condition. Errors in any of those can lead to overheating/over-deflection, which can result in tread/belt separation (per NTSB and USTMA). So it appears Lane is either unqualified to do his job, or he was lying. * Duty of care--breached. They returned the car still misaligned after charging for alignment, then brushed off concerns. When I said I was unhappy with the original alignment, Lane handed me the keys and said, "If you aren't happy with our service, you should take it somewhere else." No investigation, no documentation, no concern. Bottom line: reckless indifference to customer safety and an abject refusal to take accountability. And I get an alignment that didn't fully align the car and ended up costing me over $700.

They must have more than enough business to turn away customers who want to pay them to install…read morecustomer provided parts. So much for attempting to keep my money local.

I was referred to them by a neighbor, and the reviews were fantastic. Polar opposite of my…read moreexperience. I took my car in for a steering rack swap, power steering pump change with alignment. Initially, I was told it would be done same day (Thursday Aug 11th). It wasn't ready until the Monday of the next week (aug 14th). I picked it up and they told me i have a leak at the front right differential. No biggie, as it has been sitting for well over a year. Upon getting my car, I drove it home. In my excitement, I didn't initially notice anything wrong, other than my car puking to the right. I had to stop less than 5 miles from the shop to fuel up. As I pulled into the station, I couldn't use my steering wheel controls to turn down my stereo. Once driving, I tried my cruise control, didn't work either. I have a trinket on my dash and didn't pay attention it was moved, so I moved it to the location it had been for about 5 years. Upon doing so, the airbag was illuminated. I immediately called them, and they answered (after hours). Explained all of my issues, and they were able to work with me on bringing the car back in to figure out 1. The steering wheel control issues and 2. The alignment being horrible.l and possibly dangerous. Fast forward, they actually came out to pick up my car (Aug 17th). Got the car back to the shop and figured it was the clock spring that they screwed up when they pulled the rack. They bought a new one and were supposed to pick it up at Austin subaru on Tues, Aug 22.. Somehow, austin subaru "mailed" the clock spring instead of letting them pick it up. So now, my car was to be done on a Tuesday, Aug 23l2nd. With the mix-up of "subaru shipping it", it's now moved to Thursday Aug, 24th. No information relayed to me about anything at any given point in time, 1st or 2nd visit. I had to reach out to figure wtf was going on with my car. I got ZERO information about the status of my car. Now Friday, Aug. 25th, I text for an update since they won't forward communication. They responded an hour or so later (1043am) telling me their woes on fighting the clock spring, etc. Later that same day (1251pm), they text me saying they got it figured out, and now they need to do the alignment. Almost 24 hours later....I get a text saying the alignment is complete and the car is ready for pick up. I had already told them my girlfriend was flying in, and I would have ZERO availability to pick it up with her here. Crickets were louder than them and their communications. Fast forward to yesterday, I trailered my car to a shop where I was performing the leak of the differential and I saw they have no fking clue what they're doing on a Japanese car (not that it matters). Steering rack and pinion leaking and crumpled up boots. And to boot, I still need an alignment! So not only am I out $550 on this shoddy job, I get to spend another $100 or so on another alignment. Please, stay far away from this place. They cannot actually handle any job. Pics attached! I only rented a trailer 3 times to let them work on my car. I might actually contact make a move for legal advice.
