I moved away for 30 years and had good ENT doctors but none as exceptional as Dr. Chastant, and I was living in New York and Los Angeles. Fast forward 30 years later, I am back in Lafayette, my home town which I'm for the most part allergic to, and I am the patient of his son, Dr. Ryan Chastant. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Both Drs. Chastant have a remarkable way of dealing with patients. They are both, warm, friendly, empathetic and so knowledgeable. Their staff are exactly the same. Friendly, courteous and always treat you as if you were their only patient. I've never felt I was in any better hands than these. UPDATE: ER doc sent me home with vertigo medicine and BOOM! I feel so much better!…read more I will never return. I went to him for dizziness and headaches that had been occurring for a while. I was thinking vertigo after cardio found nothing. He said it wasn't vertigo very flippantly. Didn't even test me. Told me to return to my cardiologist He was so arrogant and suggested it could be because I'm overweight or having anxiety or even joked about being crazy. He even suggested a brain tumor but said a neurologist won't see me without an MRI, unfortunately. Went straight from his office to the ER and the first thing they asked me was had I ever had vertigo. They ran some tests and referred me to a neurologist without an MRI. Gave me meds for vertigo and headaches to relieve some suffering.
