I moved away for 30 years and had good ENT doctors but none as exceptional as Dr. Chastant, and I was living in New York and Los Angeles. Fast forward 30 years later, I am back in Lafayette, my home town which I'm for the most part allergic to, and I am the patient of his son, Dr. Ryan Chastant. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Both Drs. Chastant have a remarkable way of dealing with patients. They are both, warm, friendly, empathetic and so knowledgeable. Their staff are exactly the same. Friendly, courteous and always treat you as if you were their only patient. I've never felt I was in any better hands than these. I actually enjoy going to this Doctor's office.

They had me try five different medications just to get me out the door, then refused to refill any of them without another return visit. Most were basically OTC-level meds that would've required another $300+ appointment to get. Absolute scam. They're still sending me bills for that one visit, and I think I'm up to $700+ now. No X-rays, no testing, nothing, just a basic visit.

Was told that she would have to go to get bloodwork done at the hospital with next to no notice after the office insisted that they informed me. Was making arrangements with my job since i am a single father and the doctor decided that bssed on the fact that i did not recall her having to get bloodwork done that the dr. (Eldredge) just wasn't going to do it. That they could give me a referral elsewhere, a week before the surgery.

After meeting with Dr. Cestia & his nurse Dawn, I finally feel like I was listened to and spoken to on a level I can understand and meet him in the middle on my health care needs. He didn't hurry me or placate me with trying me on this or that trial medication. Nor did he start giving me suggestions on other doctors that I should go to based on my health care concerns due to their specialties. So many times I've found that doctors are doctoring to make lots of money or too afraid TO doctor based on restrictions placed on them by insurance or government. I cannot thank this doctor and staff enough for seeing me as a human being just wanting to be well so I can be a better person to other people that are counting on me.
