We chose to shoot in the South End to capture the beautiful brownstones and fall foliage, and the photos turned out even better than I imagined. Our situation was a bit tricky because we were working around a sleepy 6-month-old. Daniela kindly adjusted her schedule at the last minute so our baby could take a full nap beforehand, something any parent will appreciate! During the shoot, she gave us so much direction on how to stand, pose, and find the best lighting, which made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. People walking by even stopped to say how great the photos were going to look -- and they were right. The images came out stunning. I've received so many compliments on our Christmas card this year, and it was hard to narrow it down to just a handful of photos because everything she captured was perfect. Daniela truly brought my vision to life and beautifully documented our memories in Boston. I can't recommend Sister City Photography enough for anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality family photos.

We joked with Nicole that we are awkward in photos, but Nicole eased our nerves and miraculously overcame our photo-awkwardness! She had contacted me a few days before my appointment to discuss what colors and motives I like. On Friday morning she came right on time for the shooting. She brought everything needed and a lot more. The set-up was done right in my babies nursery. Initially I was afraid it wouldn't be big enough, but I also didn't want to heat up the entire house (it was beginning of January). Nancy was super patient with my baby. She really knew how to perfectly saddle my baby and get it super comfy for the shooting. Better than I would have done, being a first time mom with only 9 days of experience. Nancy put a lot of extra time into my pictures, as my baby was calm but didn't want to sleep. But the extra effort was totally worth it. Initially, I wanted to pay extra for the 20pictures but they were all too cute and I couldn't decide. I ended up getting all of the shoots (close to 50). And was able to make a book for both of our parents just with those. I already got so many complements on my pictures and was told that the expecting moms want to use the same service as the pictures came out so good. Btw, they also offer to take shoots with the baby and sibling or parents. Initially, I just wanted my hand in the picture to have a reference to the babies size. However, I didn't want to get my face in, as I thought I was way too exhausted to be photographed. I am glad Nancy convinced me to be in the pictures. It turned out to be one of my favorites. Thanks again sweet me photography for the very pleasant experience. I would definitely do it again!
