Bryan Anderson is the most unprofessional photographer in the business. I hired him to do my wedding and engagement photos. He did not give us the engagement photos we asked for, on TWO separate occasions of shooting. Then, he agreed to give me my deposit back (not the fees paid for the engagement session) and then never did. Additionally, I asked him about doing a few simple edits before deciding to use his services, which he SURPRISE agreed to do, then when I asked him to do the edits, he complained about it on his Facebook page! Saying that if you are unhappy with the way you look you thats not his fault and that he is not 20 years old anymore and he understands that; he leaves the bags and wrinkles. I AM 23 years old!!! After numerous attempts by phone and email to get him to pay me what he agreed IN WRITING to pay me, I wrote on his facebook asking him to contact me about my refund. He responded by deleting me as a friend, blocking me and then emailed me this: I had huge bills to take care of. Posting on my wall is not the smart way to do things. Just as I did not post photos of you showing all the signs of aging. You will get the refund soon enough. DIRECT QUOTE FROM THE EMAIL! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN! There are plenty of other people in the business that will listen to your needs and wants and give you the photos you want without attempting to embarrass and belittle you. We selected Beauty in Art as our wedding photographer after a recommendation from a friend and a meeting with Bryan. Our package included engagements, bridals and wedding photography. We were impressed with the quality of the photography & the creativity of Bryan throughout the duration of our services. For our engagements, we envisioned whimsical, nature-based pictures with lots of light. Bryan more than delivered and the pictures were stunning. For our bridal session, Bryan did a wonderful job directing me and positioning me in flattering ways. I had more than enough final shots to choose from and had a great time playing with him and taking pictures. Finally, Bryan really was a big help on the day of the wedding. He went above and beyond basic wedding photographer and helped me (the bride) throughout the day to corral relatives, explain things to my mother & other family members, act as the liason to the venue & wedding band, guide me throughout the timeline of wedding events (bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc.) To contrast, my sister did not have such a professional and helpful photographer at her wedding out of state. This is something that she continues to regret to this date, over a year later. Yes, we paid more for these professional services, but the value we received outweighed the cost. I had Bryan do my wedding pictures and regret it. He confirmed a time to start shooting pics with my husband but didn't remember so he showed up very early and he was extremely rude even though it was his fault. He was very unprofessional with me, my wedding party and also some guests. I had some unfortunate events which put us running behind and he was extremely irritated which caused much tension with everyone and it was suppose to be a great, fun time getting ready etc. The standard wedding pictures that he does, which were the ONLY ones he edited, were nice but they were the ones he posted for his business. The rest of my pictures look like an amateur shot them. The pictures I have standing in my dress in front of a mirror have his whole body in them in background. My reception pictures are very poor quality for someone who promotes himself as an outstanding artistic photographer. I could go on and on about the disappointment I have for my pictures. Now I get the liberty of trying to edit pictures so I can have some kind of album. I will never hire him nor recommend him to anyone. read more
