My initial service was great and on time - no hiccups. I continued to check in with the office on a weekly basis as I wasn't receiving e-mail updates about the weekly service being completed and I was assured from the front desk that it was being taken care of - the servicer just hadn't updated the log. Over the course of 4 weeks of being gone, I was notified on the Week 4 service that our pool was green, there was a major leak and there was nothing they could do. Granted, all of this information was given to me by a family member who had been house sitting for us. I immediately called the office and did not get an answer, I then sent them a text requesting a call back ASAP. I contacted my family member to pass the phone onto the service agent and he then informed me that he had NOT serviced my pool for 4 weeks.... So, for the 4 weeks that I had hired them one, no one had serviced my pool which turned it green. A minor repair I had requested prior to leaving had not been repaired, leading to a leak which he stated they could not repair for me. I had paid for the month of service and was assured that my pool was being maintained which all was false. When I brought this up to the front desk assistant she stated there was a "miscommunication" with the service agent and the office and they were "under the assumption" that my pool had been serviced. She then stated that they could no longer take on our account as they could not repair the leak and I would now have to find a new servicer. Keep in mind, all of this was taking place while I was out of town and had entrusted Orange Leaf to care for my pool. I was then stuck finding a new service team to clean the algae from my pool, repair the leak, replace my float valve, repair leaks at the pool pump that now occurred after not being serviced for a month AND a hefty water bill since they left a leak unattended for a month. All in all - I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company.

I told the technician the first week that we had black algae and nothing was done to treat it, even though they charge extra for the first visit, which is supposed to include algaecide. 3. My black algae got worse over the next three weeks and nothing was done to treat it. 4. I contacted the office about issues with black algae, for the first week. They said they would send someone out to treat it but no one came. A week later they finally sent someone who did not treat it properly. So I waited another 4 days (including weekend) for the manager to come out and treat only 2 of the spots. 5. They have repeatedly lied about the pH and chlorine levels of my pool. Before having a pool company I was balancing the pool myself weekly so I have a rough idea of about how many chemicals need to be added in order to keep the pool balanced. The emails I receive will have a chlorine level of four or greater, but I know that's not possible when there is no chlorine in our dispenser and all they've done is add one tab to it. Not one time have they added anything like muriatic acid or soda ash to adjust the pH of our pool. The person who works the front desk is very friendly and helpful, and the texting system that they have is great for communicating with them as well. I genuinely believe that the technician manager wants to treat our pool properly, however, none of the technicians that come to my house actually seem to give a s***. Upon raising my concerns about the differences in my test of the pool water compared with the email they sent me, They did offer to request that the technician take a picture of the test strip next time they came. Small things are being done on behalf of management to make some of these issues right, but I'm tired of having to constantly follow up on issues. Just do the job right the first time.
