My wife and I chose like the biggest ones to paint but they don't have a sitting fee (I think that's what she called it) so we took our time and painted the cutest gnome and Darth Vader ever! The prices are listed right one the piece you chose and that includes the item, the paint, and the glaze. Pretty fantastic deal! We spent $75 total and like I said, they were very large pieces. The place was packed when we went but it didn't feel overwhelming or loud. The color options seem endless. Some solids, some with sparkles, some with flecks. The brushes are a little worn so I think I may bring my own next time if that is allowed but there are plenty to route through to find what you're looking for. Best part, the variety they have to chose from! The whole store is lined with pieces including the upcoming holiday, fantasy, garden, kitchen flatware and mugs, and so much more. The place is family owned and much of the pottery they pour (again, I think that's the right'ish way to say that...). Either way, its a small business and we love supporting small businesses! We got a call when our items were glazed and ready to go, about 4 days later.

The employee clearly stated that she broke my piece during the glaze dipping process. She fired it anyhow so I could see how it turned out, but clearly stated I was not allowed to take the piece with me. Upon further inspection of my piece it was altered in other ways as the lettering I had painted on had clearly been smeared and an attempt to clean it off had been made. I was then told I could come back and paint another piece for "free". No, not free. I already paid for it and was not taking a completed piece home with me. You then leave it for them to kiln and pick up your piece in a week or so. What really earned this establishment 5-stars was their exceptional customer service. You may notice that is a frequent statement on their reviews, and it's 100% true! Their staff was so friendly, helpful, and quick to assist. I was their with my daughter and on more than one occasion we had a staff member approach us and ask how my daughter was doing, giving advice/tips, and giving positive/upbeat feedback and compliments. Amanda with her company "Made for You" was absolutely awesome, provided excellent instruction, with a perfect set up for class participants to create their own grazing board. We learned about wine pairings, how to style the food, types of cheeses, resources to use and best of all we got to sample our creation. After that part of the class concluded, Anna with Boards and Brushes took over and we were provided with ALL of the materials and as well as step-by-step instructions and guidance to create our own individualized wood decor!
