This was a great choice because it allows you to sort of keep up with the flow of traffic and you also don't have a pedal so much lol. It was so fun! They give you a bike lock and paper map with suggested places to visit or you can do the guided tour with one of their tour guides. I saw one in passing and it looked pretty fun. The bikes come with a little bag on the front to hold the lock and other small things. You also have the option to add a cell phone holder or basket to the bike, even a picnic add-on (basket, reusable wine glasses, blanket, & coupons). I would definitely use their bikes again!

He's so passionate about it that we ended up getting a three hour tour instead of two. He really wanted us to get the chance to see a few things before they closed, and since we were all willing we took a few detours here and there. He gives honest restaurant recommendations and also encourages people to reach out after the tour. We even passed people on the route who yelled out to him, he clearly has a great reputation with the locals as well. If I did nothing else while visiting I could walk away confident that I learned more during these three hours than I would have going to see things on my own or on a different tour.

You are guaranteed a fun filled day, cycling around the city seeing sights and learning a little history about the area in which we are in. First of all let me say, I live in the Jacksonville area for 18 years and didn't even know that there was such a bike company to give bike tours. So when a friend found this on GROUPON...I was elated!!!! So we bought out discount tickets, made reservations, and hopped on a bike for a ride! Tour was scheduled for 10-1 in San Marco, a 3 hour tour that bikes around 11 miles in and out and around the San Marco area, with stops throughout the tour for a little history lesson, if you will. Leigh supplied all the bikers with ice cold water and had refills when needed, and also provided snacks at the half way point along a pond. Nice touch! My only complaint??? Our tour was scheduled for 10 and YES this little note is on the website: "Please arrive at the time of your tour. If we're not there when you arrive, we're on our way!", which is nice, BUT...when she did arrive, it took 45 minutes to unload the bikes, pump up tires, give instructions, pass out water, try the bikes for size, then ride.... Please let me say that in NO WAY was the tour shortened, she did the entire tour, but what would have happened if anyone of the bikers had other plans or was running late themselves? Anyhow, the group of girls had a blast, and we are already talking about another tour! The good thing is, e2ride has many more areas of Jacksonville to bike around (San Marco 3hrs 11 miles, Riverside/Avondale 3hrs 10 miles, Mandarin 3hrs 12 miles, Springfield 3hrs 5.5 miles, and Art around town 3hrs) , and I can't wait to bike them all! A 90 minute tour of Savannah on a Segway?! Count me in!…read more We made our reservations online, got our confirmation email and a safety video to watch before we showed up. We arrived at the venue and got signed in, completed our waivers, a couple people had not watched the video at home so they had to do it here. Then we picked out a couple fun helmets, met our guide Gregg who gave each one of us a personalized lesson in mounting, dismounting, forward, reverse, and turning, before allowing us s few minutes practice before we started our tour. I have to say, I started the day thinking I'd be falling off and ended thinking I want to own one of these things. Our guide spent the first half of the tour teaching us the history of the city, and the second half entertaining us on the tour. This was hands down my favorite part of my weekend in Savannah and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
