I stayed 3 nights in cabin 3. It was clean and cozy. The cabins sit away from the tents and RVs which I liked. The WiFi is basically nonexistent so the TV in the cabin was useless. It has taken me a few weeks to write this review because I wasn't sure what to say. Our experience wasn't bad per se, but wasn't great. If you're looking for a spot to park, here's your spot. read more

Let me first clearly state this is NOT a resort. A "resort" is a term that campground owners are clearly taking advantage. Secondly, this was previously a KOA and is not a newer campground. I visited in a 40 ft motorhome and was placed in one of the smaller spots from what I can see walking around as many sites were of nice size. The site picnic tables are concrete so unable to move them and mine was placed at the very front of my site making it useless unless you want to be roadside attraction. It didn't take me long to understand why when I wanted to put my awning out and bring out my chairs I would be sitting on top of my neighbors sewer and electrical box, yes, they were right beside my camper on the passenger side making no room for a picnic table. Therefore, no sitting outside on this trip unfortunately. As far as the "resort"......not even close. They offer no resort amenities. No concrete pads, no food service, no planned activities for the kids, a very small pool was closed for the season. So we are clear on my expectations and experiences at a true "RV Resort" they have a restaurant on property, they have concrete pads, they most often have a year round pool or hot tub, they have spacious sites, the property is well maintained, they have places around the campground you can sit and relax or have family activities. This place offered none of this but yet the price we paid during off season was more than what we pay at ocean front resorts in NC. This campground is more of a community of long term or permanent campers. Some sites need to be reeled in by the owner as they look look like a collection point of recycling. A camper at one particular sites was circled by debris doing this place no favors. The place was full of RVs, but yet we saw only about 3-5 people over a 3 day stay. The customer service over the phone was great. Very friendly and helpful. They do have a limited offering of supplies in the office. The price point from my experiences here would be more realistic at $30-40 off season and 50-60 during peak. We paid $80 off season. This will not happen again as there are choices in the area where the prices are more balanced with offerings for a visit with family who live in the area. read more

The staff is very nice. Betty went out of her way to see that our stay was the best. She went over and beyond. At the last minute we decided to stay an extra night and she managed to work it out for us. Thank you so much Betty. Carol was also very nice and accommodating. My second visit here. It was great last fall and it's even better now. They've added a lot of Wi-Fi coverage, more cameras to make you feel very secure. And even a new dog park with separate enclosures for small and large dogs. There's a beautiful lake, the cleanest bath house I've ever seen, and a large Park like atmosphere to walk your dog. The staff is very friendly. There are several nice touches like snacks free coffee etc. I will definitely return here. read more

We don't have a lot of camping experience but this site exceeded our expectations. We stayed from Thurs to a Sat. Bathrooms and showers were really clean. Laundry room was clean although 2 washers were out of order. Since we were tent campers, we used the camp kitchen to wash our dishes, which was clean and super handy. On site store carried a limited inventory, but there wasn't much we needed. It's a pretty small campground, so getting to the pool, store and showers and bathroom is a short walk. There's a small park with swings, sand box and teeter totter. (Please for the sanity of all parents, please get rid of the sandbox!) from our tent site (29) we could see our kids at the park, which is awesome! Fishing pond is pretty small, but it didn't fend the husband off. 30 mins from north Myrtle Beach. We'll likely come back to this site! read more

Really nice spacious rv park in beautiful sunset beach Nc.welll taken care of full rv hookups and friendly staff.we are staying here for a couple weeks with our rv.wifi works excellent and cable tv.they also have a pool and small store.they have showers but we have a shower in our rv so im not using the showers on sight i can say our rv shower stayed hot which was good .would reccomend . read more

Stayed here for a single night. Staff seemed friendly enough. Camp site was quiet and bathrooms were clean. It was nothing fancy. But it wasn't horrible either. The pond has fish however they said they feed them so they don't bite. It's nice and clean and the price was cheap. Very nice but not anything spectacular but it doesn't need to be with Myrtle beach super close there is plenty to do. My only complaint is that the camp sight was very rule based. Like crazy like don't walk in the grass if you don't have too. The front desk lady made a big deal about parking when it turned out to not be a big deal at all. The bathrooms while clean were littered with signs like do that but not this and to me seemed unprofessional and annoying. You're in the hospitality business. Please be more welcoming they weren't rude but they were not very welcoming or people persons. read more

do not stay here! we had a guy up all night yelling that he was going to shoot up the place and nobody did anything. the cops have been here twice and they left saying that they couldn't search his vehicle and he had to be out by 11:00 even though he said he had guns and was going to shoot the place. the lady in charge got an attitude with us when we wanted our money back because we didn't feel safe staying here. worst campground i've ever been at!!!!!!! only stay here if you want your life threatened. read more

We stayed in a cabin August 9-12, 2015. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4-- 2 adults, a preteen & a 1 year old. There is an air conditioner in the window that helps keep the room cool. It's nothing fancy, but you're at the beach--you don't need much more than a bed to sleep on and a warm shower. I had reserved the cabin online and called to confirm my reservation the week before. My call was promptly returned and our cabin was confirmed. When we arrived we were checked in quickly and efficiently. Since our daughter was 12 she had an extra charge (which was well posted on the website and we had no problem paying.) The price of the cabin was extremely reasonable & well worth not having to deal with a tent this far from home. My girls and I had a great time hanging out by the pool after the day at the beach while my husband prepared dinner. Speaking of, the campground also offers a great outdoor cooking pavilion that has four stovetop burners, sinks and tables. I saw this offered on the website & thought it would be popular so I backed the Coleman to be safe. We never had a problem using it & saved so much time! The showers were always hot and the pressure was alway great! The staff was friendly and accessible! We can't wait to come back! read more

Absolutely the WORST RV Park, we have Ever Stayed at!!!...The Staff was Extremely Rude and for the cleaning lady to close the showering area from 11am-2pm the facilities were Nasty!!! The cleaning lady also brought her personal laundry to do while the guests were doing their laundry, just blows my mind!!!...it might have been a different story if all the machines worked, oh and expect to be watched like a hawk!!! They were accusing our group of having like 12 people staying in our RV that barely sleeps 6, we were here for a family reunion and a few of our cousins had been by a few times I could go on and on about this joint, we were made to take our laundry out of the washing machine mid cycle sopping wet, and check out because our laundry wasn't quite finished by check out time and was told we would be charged a late check out fee!!!...I definitely would NOT Recommend staying at this place!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! read more

This is the second year that we've visited this campground and will be back again. The facility is clean and modern with everything you need for a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful with valuable information about local restaurants and sights. Its only a few minutes to the beach or you can stay onsite and relax in the pool. We stayed there four months will our house was getting finished. On the day we got down I moved the trailer into the spot reserved for us in the morning while my family stayed in the motel even though the spot was empty they charged me a whole extra day for getting 3 hours early. After 2 weeks they made me move one spot over and after a month they made me move again. Speaking to other long term campers this was common place it's apparent that they can not make changes to reservations. When you went into the office the manager had her good days and her bad days. The other woman working the office was just "ray of sunshine" i can't tell you how many times I got the "slow down" sign will driving through at the speed limit but the worst thing was after a NC State Trooper was killed the Governor ordered all flags on state property lowered in respect when I asked about why they didn't lower theirs I was yelled at that we're not state property. When it rained the roads had terrible drainage. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more
