I opted for a housemade lemonade, which came in a big wine glass and made me feel very cosmopolitan as I sipped on a sunny day. We wanted to order the caprese panini, as this is my companion's favorite, but it was sold out-- which goes to show how popular and delicious an item it is. We opted for a pepper and cheese focaccia, which was a great substitute. The service was good and the ambiance of outside was very nice. There's a neat wine shop attached, and we stopped in another day to pick up a couple of bottles as well.

It's self-service, so no waiting around to order and then pay, and you can get a card to collect stamps and get a free coffee, you can then collect the cards to get a kg of Hochland coffee. You'll find it up the side street, by Karstadt, in the pedestrian zone. You can read a magazine or today's newspaper, there are chairs and tables outside and in winter there are blankets for your knees and patio heaters, to keep the top of your head warm. It's all very civilized.

The staff is friendly specifically Christoph with the red bun. The menu is extensive and features diner style food. It is really cheap and tastes delicious. I definitely love the homey atmosphere.
