OK, it's not as big as the location in Amsterdam but it's pretty nice to have an 'American' book…read morestore in The Hague. Staff is always super friendly! Nice selection of American and British magazines, and cheaper than anywhere else in the city. They have nice stationary items/gifts as well. I like coming here, I can browse for hours and always end up buying something. You can get a discount card for 7 euros, which is a good deal if you live here (or in Amsterdam) and frequently buy books and/or magazines. You get 10% off everything, even the magazines! This especially saves me money since I buy a lot of them. Overall I love this store.

While only seconds earlier when I walked in she greeted me and did not mention the store was closing. I was in shock how mean and aggressive she was.

AND 3 "stores" in one? electronic/office Paagman, the COOLEST Childrens store section on the Fred, and a Large selection of books, and adorable cafe, and a post office?!?!? Talk about your one stop shop! 3 entrances at least on the outside each leading to a different section of the store... Easy to think they are not one and the same! How surprised was I to see you served Kicking Horse Coffee..... SO SURPRISED!!! The back cafe almost makes it seem like you are not in a store at all. The kids section is so cool, you can watch movies, and play games, and theres a teeny tiny mouse house with a doorbell. You can also send international mail or purchase a chip card (enabling you to ride on the Tram and use other forms of public transportation in Holland).
