I am a patient at this clinic and generally have positive experiences with my doctor, whom I…read morerespect and trust. However, I recently had a phone call with a member of the chronic care team that I found unprofessional and upsetting. The call was intended to be a routine health check-in, but the conversation quickly became judgmental and dismissive regarding my circumstances. I explained that I had moved an extended distance due to factors outside of my control, which has made it more difficult to access specialists. Instead of focusing on my care or offering solutions, I was told that people should make housing decisions based on proximity to medical care. This felt like blame rather than support. I also discussed that I sometimes use AI tools to help me organize health-related information and prepare questions for my doctor so I can better advocate for myself. I was told that using AI in this way is "dangerous," without any meaningful explanation or discussion, which felt dismissive rather than informative or professional. Most concerning, the conversation included an unsolicited reference to religion (specifically God) that was not relevant to my medical care. I immediately made it clear that I do not share those beliefs and did not wish to discuss religion in a healthcare context. Instead of acknowledging this boundary, the nurse doubled down, scoffed in response and stated "well, that's your belief". I found this highly inappropriate and disrespectful in a medical setting, particularly during a health-related call where religion had no relevance. Overall, the tone of the interaction felt condescending and dismissive rather than supportive or patient-centered. I left the call feeling talked down to rather than listened to. I want to be clear that this feedback is not about my physician, who I continue to trust and appreciate. It is specifically about this interaction with the chronic care staff member, which did not reflect the standard of care I expect from the practice.

I chose this practice expecting clear communication and consistency in my medical care…read more Unfortunately, that was not my experience. After establishing care, I was later informed of additional requirements that were different from what had originally been explained to me. When I politely asked whether the policy had changed and requested clarification, I did not receive a direct answer. Instead, I was told the office does not provide its policies to patients. Patients deserve transparency, especially when changes in office policies can affect ongoing treatment. Clear, consistent communication is essential for building trust between patients and their healthcare providers. While everyone I interacted with was courteous, I left feeling frustrated by the lack of transparency and the inconsistent information I received. I hope the practice will consider communicating policy changes more clearly so future patients know what to expect.

She was awesome and was apologetic that I was sick. She did an extensive diagnosis and explained our plan of action. She expedited tests, got my results and sent in prescriptions. I appreciate all Micah did and want to say the entire office team is always friendly and helpful and I recommend them for anyone needing a doctor.

However, I ran into a major issue recently that left me feeling extremely disappointed and unheard. I was told that I could not receive even a single additional month of medication unless I physically came in for another appointment, despite informing them that I'm in the process of establishing a new PCP. It seems completely unreasonable that, after explaining this, they would refuse to offer any flexibility or assist in a timely manner. What really upset me was the lack of empathy or understanding. It felt like the company's policy mattered more than the actual well-being of their patients. I've been a loyal customer for a while, and a little flexibility in this situation would have gone a long way in maintaining my trust and continued business. In an age where patient care should be the priority, this experience was both frustrating and disappointing. I understand the importance of following procedures, but when it comes to patient health, especially in transitionary periods like this, a bit of compassion and common sense should be part of the equation. I really hope they rethink this policy moving forward, because their current approach certainly leaves much to be desired.
