He looked uncomfortable. shortly after, a Mexican guy in a truck drove into their parking lot. the owner stuck his head out and asked clerk if driver was "Hispanic or white?" I went in to get a tire mounted on my vehicle and wanted to purchase a 2nd tire same brand so they can match. The man at the counter looked at the tire I had and said they couldn't order that brand tire, no prob so I bought my own tire from (amazon). took both tires in to get mounted. Great Response time and very honest. I had replaced an ignition switch five years ago at a different location/business. These guys bailed me out when one of my tires picked up a big wood screw on my way south to San Jose. My new Subie has tire pressure warning and about 6 miles north of Lodi it suddenly notified me that my left rear tire only had 20 psi. I pulled off 99 as soon as I hit civilization and immediately (lucky me) found two tire places. The first (Lodi Tire) called attention to the screw sticking out of my sidewall but did not have my tire in stock. They were really nice and suggested trying Bruce's Tires across the street so I headed over there. They didn't have one in stock either, but called around (including to the closest Subaru dealer) and let me know the fastest they could get my tire was the next morning from their supplier in Hayward. I aborted my trip and hubby came to pick me up. At 8:03 the next morning I got a call that the tire had already been delivered and installed! (They don't officially open until 8). Long-winded story but I'm grateful my tire problem happened near Lodi and not on the Altamont. Received great service from owner Dennis and from Jerry. Lots of good conversation and efficient service. If you need tires and are anywhere near Lodi you can't go wrong with this business. read more

My son had a flat tire on his lifted truck. Yes, he has special tires, but no one wanted 2 sell us just 1 tire, not even 2. The places we called said he had 2 buy 4, and it would take 3-4 weeks to get them, and cost over $2500. We don't have that kind of money. A friend told us about Bruce's tires. Omg!!! Sure now and again I am lured by a sale price at discount store, but they either don't have my size or they are a pain to deal with. These guys are great. I've had to use them a couple of times for tire replacement. They've come out to where I've been and changed it on the spot. They check the fluid levels, tire pressure with each oil change. When we have the tires rotated they check our brake pads and keeps informed on them as well as how our tires are wearing. After calling around other tire shops in Lodi I decided to go to Bruce's Tires to get my tires balanced. I needed four 15 inch tires balanced that were already off my little Toyota and in the back of a truck. According to the internet, and yelp, Bruce's Tires closes at 5:30. I showed up there at 4:40 asking for them to balance them and the guy told me 'they couldn't balance them today because they were closing soon.' When I asked them 'Don't you close at 5:30?', the guy claimed they close at 5 and they were already closing up the shop. I understand if I went in there asking for something complicating, but it doesn't take long to balance four tires that are not even on a car. The guy, very rudely and obviously uninterested in a sale, said 'I mean I guess I could hurry and do them real quick' but I couldn't believe the horrible customer service I had witnessed and just couldn't fathom giving them my business. I went down the street to A1 Quality Tires and they kindly balanced my tires in LESS THEN 10 MINUTES FOR HALF THE PRICE.
