I had my car towed here after a tire blew out on the freeway. During the safety inspection, they tried to turn the car on to check the mileage... only to discover my battery had conveniently died. Unfortunately, the battery is in the trunk, which wouldn't open because the battery was dead, so that turned into its own adventure. By the time we finally got the car jumped, the warehouse was basically closing. They easily could have told us we'd have to come back another day, but instead they stayed late and quickly got all of my tires replaced so we wouldn't be inconvenienced. Jayden was incredibly helpful, patient, and went above and beyond to help both me and my husband through a frustrating situation. I didn't catch the manager's name, but he was just as kind, understanding, and welcoming. After a really long, stressful day, their willingness to help made all the difference. My niece and I came out the grocery store and notice I had a pretty flat tire. Thankfully Americas tire is in the same parking lot. I attempted to drive accross the parking lot but got nervous and parked it close to the tire shop. Your store associate, Matt gladly came out to inspect the tire. He offered to Carefully drive it closer to the store to be repaired. After a little more investigating he found a razor blade in my tire! He let me know that there was a tire similar to Mine in stock and quoted me about 45 min. My car was done in that time frame. I was going in fully expecting to have to spend $160 at least and was pleasantly surprised that since I got my tires there 8 months ago I got a credit for the tread left and only had to pay $44 difference. 2 years ago brought my car in and had them look at and order new tires. set up an appointment to get them installed and when I got there they said the tires they ordered would not work on my car. they had nothing to offer other than a sorry. so I had to drive back home on shoot tires. today we went in to have tires rotated. the young man went to our car and socialized with 4 different people then slowly walked in to tell us our tire are worn out and we need new tires. $600.00 worth. went to Costco and they said tires are fine with almost half the life left. they rotated them and were headed home. won't be using American Tire ever again read more

Great service! My tire was flat so I went in for a plug but the worker told me it was so old and ready to give out on me. He could tell I was ready to risk the drive back to Stockton to get a plug anyway but due to his informative advice, he helped me out with a great price and I got 2 newer front tires! It's funny, this was a 5 star review in my head as I came in for a balance issue. Long story short I brought them rims and tires for my Mercedes c63s. They knew the vehicle and mounted and balanced the tires. Within days they seemed out of balance. I asked if I could come in to have all the tires rebalanced. They said yes. I came in and left the car with them to go get food. He called me 15 minutes later and said they couldn't touch them because the load rating with that size tire, specifically the sidewall, was wrong for that car and said they would refund me for the original service. Long story short, Joshua was rude and didn't know what he was talking about. I tried asking the right questions to get answers and he was clearly frustrated and couldn't tell me why or what rating in a clear way. Kyle initially helped me and seemed like he also shouldn't be in customer service either. I worked in this industry for 6 years and I know what the issue is but this experience and the way he spoke to me is enough for me to never use America's tire again. My son came here after he split his tire. They sold him 2 new tires and an alignment. Driving home his ABS light, Traction Control and brake lights came on and speedometer stopped working. Had them recheck it, told us nothing they did and have to take it to a shop. Got a call from the shop. When America's tire put on the new tires they put them on the back and moved one of the back tires to the front. Well turns out now the front passenger tire is a diff size from the front driver tire which is the root cause of the issue. Feels like that is something they should know to check/verify before moving tores around. Car was purchased used and America's replaced 1 front tire and 1 rear tire, so assuming previous owner must have replaced 2 tires at some point with a diff size but because they were on the same end of the car the sensor didnt trip. read more

I had my tires rotated at American Tire in Lodi on Lower Sacramento Rd. The workers were singing, which is fine, but yelling and cussing at each other, which seem very inappropriate to me, because it was done in the customers veiw and ear shot. I just thought ,"Boy Things have changed" Then n when I brought my car in to have wheels removed the back tires were stuck. Apparently American tire had used the air gun to tighten the wheels all the way and cross threaded the wheels. When I went back to tell them about this, they refused to believe it could have been them. I'm very disappointed in this shop and will be going elsewhere for tires in the future. I am so pleased that this tire shop opened up. It was only their second or third day open so I was thrilled to be one of their first customers getting my tires rotated. I was immediately greeted outside by a very friendly team member with a big smile and a hello. Great way to start! Inside there were plenty of places to sit and a spacious and welcoming waiting area. In the back there were restrooms off to the right and a small frig where they offer cold, bottled water for customers. I noticed there were more kiosks for the employees to check in the customers than the Stockton location. It is an island of computers which prevents a long line from forming. Great idea! I appreciated that they were done with my car in less than half an hour and the managers and guys working on my car were all getting it done as a team. Everyone appeared to work well together and was busy. They even fixed my wiper blades that were on the wrong way! They now offer a text message sent to your phone which alerts you when your car is ready to be picked up. That's another new, great communication tool for the customer! Greeted with a smile and acknowledgement upon arrival, courteous, fast and professional service is more than I expected today. I always get the insurance on the tires I purchase, and the service I receive when addressing warranty covered issues is always top notch. The most recent trip in went a little longer than expected, but the service tech's communicated with me that they were running a bit behind, and went above and beyond to see to it that I was taken care of. We drove up to the Lodi American Tire Store for their free air service and Matthew suggested we get our tires checked which it turned out to have a rather large nail in one tire that had been leaking air for awhile. They very quickly repaired the tire and even offered to rotate them! Albert oversaw the procedure and was very friendly and efficient. It took only about 15 minutes and it was done!! Seems like every time I go in there they try to up sell me immediately. A lot of the people are really friendly there was one guy that was just very gruff and not too friendly. Unfortunately he works the counter. They didn't install the tire I bought inside out. And I had to go back to get it done but they did the flip quickly with no problems. read more

Walk-ins on the weekend are a bear and America's tire is usually very accommodating but it is no exception. Expect to wait a couple of hours. Totally understandable, we're all trying to get our cars done on the weekend. My suggestion is make an online appt. The wait times that you are given are optimistic at best. read more

I showed up on a busy morning. My account was charged overnight and I was not able to pay for the tire installation. As I was heading out, the manager came by to give me my tires. It would have ended there had he not gone above and beyond. He asked me if he could install them or if he could help. I let him know my situation and the lack of funds and he was able to get them installed and I had enough time to get some money together. Completely changed the outlook of my day. We had an issue (mistake on their part) which required us to need to return later in the day for them to fix something. While having to return a second time is never a pleasant experience for any customer, we could not begin to express what a fantastic job Matthew did. I've been coming to this particular location for over 5 years and would highly recommend this particular location and business in general. I always get the tire insurance and have used it (unfortunately) more times than I would like to admit due to all the nails I get. The staff - especially Cameron - are friendly and work as fast as they safely can. They are swamped with business at certain hours so be prepared by making an appointment of arriving early (before 9am, otherwise count on a 1.5 - 2 hour wait).
