The IRS told me that THEY SENT Lynn Poole letters TELLING THEM but they were IGNORED. When I took my business away bc they'd OVERPAY staff $500 sometimes or UNDERPAY $1400, THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY TAX DOCS. I had to call the Winchester Police. They LIED TO THE POLICE & SAID THEY HAD NO DOCS. When I asked them to have Sgt-in-Charge go in & put it in writing to him, THEY ADMITTED THEY HAD the DOCS & Emailed them. They are AMORAL, not just incompetent & the owner, Valerie IS NOT A CPA! There's NO ONE THERE w/ any professional credentials! STAY AWAY! I have a video of 2 of this group's staff screaming curse words at me while the police are there, telling them THEY MUST RETURN MY BUSINESSES' TAX FORMS/DOCS TO ME.

On March 26th, I emailed them to inquire whether they could still do my 2022 taxes. They replied that they would be happy to, so I submitted my paperwork to them, beginning on 4/4. On 4/14, I received a question from them, which I answered, then no other communication until 4/19 when I inquired whether they had received my previous response. No reply. I emailed, again, on 4/24, and asked for an update. Virginia responded and told me that Barb was out, sick, that day, but my taxes were nearly done and Barb would review and then they would call us. On 5/5, I left a voicemail, and on 5/8, I sent a Facebook message. Just a moment ago, I sent another email. Looks like I'll be doing my own taxes, again, this year - and now they're late. Can't recommend at this time. I will update if I hear from them.

We asked friends to recommend an accounting firm, and we were very happy we went with Rutherford & Johnson, as they suggested. My husband went in for the appointment and met with Brian Davet and was very pleased with his professionalism and friendliness. He was also very diligent and thorough in order for us to receive the maximum refund. We were given a fee estimate up front. There were a few times during the preparation phase that we needed to answer questions and gather additional information. Brian was easy to reach via email and prompt with his responses. We both went to the office to review the information and sign paperwork before filing, and we were provided with our originals and copies of everything. If we need assistance with taxes or any other accounting matter in the future, we would definitely go to Brian at this firm again!
