They are on time with their reminders and chase down the insurance companies for you. I have never had to wait more than five minutes when I have an appointment. The waiting room has clean leather seats and lots of reading materials. The hygienists are thorough and attentive. Exam rooms are always clean. No one has ever had an attitude. Great goody bags. I moved two states away but still drive back to see Dr. Azar. If you had a dentist like him, you would too.

He and his staff were gentle and patient, which is so key to any dental experience- especially when you are in pain! I needed an extraction and he referred me immediately to a surgeon who saw me right away. The tooth is out! I had two dental implants placed last August, but they fell out within days. I reached out to the office immediately, only to be informed that the doctor was on vacation in Italy and that I would have to wait until his return. When I requested to see another doctor, I was told I would have to wait two weeks for the original doctor to come back. Despite making several requests to be seen sooner, I was repeatedly told that I had to wait. During this two-week period, I suffered without care, and it felt like my well-being didn't matter to them. I endured over two weeks of discomfort, including bleeding and aching gums. Eventually, after escalating my concerns to their parent company, 42 North Dental, I received a refund four months later.

Because of this, I try to limit non-essential radiation exposure. I went to Lumos to get my teeth cleaned. The dentist told me that I needed to get an x-ray first, which I declined. Then, she didn't ask why I declined, she didn't ask whether my family has a history of radiation-associated leukemias, she didn't ask whether I was on immunosuppressive medicines that could make me more vulnerable to radiation. The dentist didn't ask me anything. She rudely told me that I shouldn't come to Lumos. The entire process felt disrespectful and dehumanizing. I would recommend against coming here.

Two generations of my family, including myself and two daughters have been patients in his practice. I began seeing Dr Feinberg when he was still working out of his original office in Stratford with his father, who was also a great orthodontist. The orthodontic work that Dr. Feinberg completes is the most advanced and state of the art. He creates a personal plan for each individual patient outlining their course of treatment. I had a terrible experience with Invisalign treatment leaving me with a very large overjet (akin to…read morebuck teeth). Aside from a bad cosmetic result, this left me unable to bite an apple, or a piece of pizza or a sandwich, etc. Everything just folds up under the front overjet. Salad tends to escape as you eat - very embarrassing. The dentist had also ground down a crown, leaving me with an upper tooth that needs to be raised with screws in my jaw, and a tendency to bite the inside of my cheek on that side. Dr. Feinberg is a great orthodontist. He is very professional, his staff is great, his office is modern and immaculate. He explains everything with a great deal of patience and professionalism. He has a lot of experience with Invisalign cases gone wrong ! He also has a wonderful reputation among his peers, which says a lot. I had gone for a second opinion on the advice of a friend who is also a Dentist and Dr. Bilous in Fairfield, another great orthodontist, assured me that his plan was exactly what was needed. She also see a lot of Invisalign cases gone wrong. The lesson is no one should be going to a dentist, even if they call themselves a cosmetic dentist, to have teeth moved. This should only be done by trained orthodontists.

My dentist recommended me to see Dr. Amato due…read moreto I have some weird periodontal issue.( a small hole appeared above my gum line, and started foam white discharge) Went to see the doc on 06/17, Dr. Amato decided we should have a small surgery. I had surgery on that day, and told to come back next week to check on the healing. 06/24 was told everything look fine, come back in 3 weeks. However, I pointed out, my gum line is uneven. Doc and nurse said need to wait at least 3-4 weeks before they can do anything. They assure me it will look even. 07/18 Dr. Amato decided to laser the gum line a little bit, so they will look even, it was about 2mm difference at that time. If I smile, you can definitely tell the difference. It was a very quick procedure. During the procedure, Dr. Amato checked with his nurse , he said " do you think I should do a little more? ", He also asked me that question. I was pretty confused , I am not professional. I left office , I sat in my car, I looked into my mirror, I was like, maybe he should laser a little bit more. I went back in the office, spoke to his nurse, I said since I am still numb, do you think we could laser a little bit more. She told me, it was not necessary, if it is still uneven, they will fix it next time. don't worry about it. Today, 08/12, another 3 weeks went by, my gum line is still uneven. Dr. Amato told me, first, he does not have time to fix my gum line, second , if I do want my gum line fixed, I need to pay $1000+ to fix it. Yes, I had small teeth before , now I have bigger teeth and uneven gum line, so if you are looking for a periodontics, would you go with this office?
