I had admired Nikki's work for years and was so excited when she opened a location in Frisco. After seeing so many beautiful transformations online, I finally decided to book an appointment. At $40 (plus tip) for eyebrow threading, it's definitely on the expensive side, but I was willing to invest if it meant finding someone I could trust with my brows. Unfortunately, after nearly a year of appointments, I never left feeling happy with my eyebrows. From the beginning, I was told that the only way to achieve a nice shape was to let my eyebrows grow in significantly. I personally prefer a more groomed look rather than fuller brows, but I trusted her expertise and wanted to see her vision through. Between appointments, I only cleaned up the middle of my brows at home and left the rest alone. Occasionally, if I had an event to attend, I would tweeze a few stray hairs that had already been threaded previously. At almost every appointment, I was told my eyebrows weren't improving because I was removing hair. The problem is, after almost a year of following her advice, the areas she continually pointed out still never grew in. My hair simply does not grow there. Instead of working with the natural growth I have, I felt like I was repeatedly blamed for something that wasn't within my control. The comment that ultimately made me decide not to return happened during my last visit. When she told me my eyebrow hair wasn't growing, I asked which areas she meant. Her response was, "Everywhere." I found that incredibly discouraging and unprofessional, especially as someone who had consistently supported her business, trusted her process, and paid premium pricing every visit. I also experienced appointments starting late because phone calls were being finished before clients were seen. I tried to be understanding because I know life happens, and I know she's experienced significant life changes. I genuinely wanted to continue supporting her business and gave plenty of grace throughout the year. Ultimately, I decided to try another brow artist at a much lower price point, and I finally walked out with the eyebrow shape I had been hoping for all along. I can absolutely see why Nikki has loyal clients, and I don't doubt that her style works well for many people. However, my experience was that her approach felt very one-size-fits-all. Rather than working with the eyebrows I naturally have, I felt like I was being judged against the eyebrows she wished I had. I believe a great brow artist should be able to adapt their technique to each client's natural growth and desired look. I truly wanted this experience to work out, which makes this review disappointing to write. Unfortunately, after nearly a year of giving it every chance, I simply wasn't satisfied with either the results or the way I was made to feel as a client. read more

I love Nikki! So efficient and does incredible work. Gets me right, every single time.

Love her so much!!! She's so welcoming and has helped my brows go through a huge transformation! Very HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking to get brows threaded. Also offers many other services! Amazing to talk to and she has great vibes read more

I had a short wait and the ladies were really nice. My stylist did a great job, and the prices are very reasonable.

I'm from Houston and threading salons are extremely competitive with pricing. I get whose the cheapest... but really whose the best?! I've been threading for years and there weren't many times that I was honestly happy with how my eyebrows turned out. I am extremely happy I was able to find Nikki through Yelp! It's great that she has tons of pictures and a website to prove her skills. I made an appointment online and was set! She's precise but quick. I didn't even tell her how I wanted my eyebrows to look and she gave me exactly what I wanted! My eyebrows are even and she gave me a natural arch. She is worth the $$$$ Nikki's the eyebrow queen! read more

I've been to Nikki 3 times. First time was in November at downtown location. She did a great job however, she charged me $20 instead of $15 as advertised on her website and instagram. Second time, again a great job at downtown location. Third time I could not make it to downtown on Sunday or Monday so I booked at Frisco location for my friend and I. I had to input a credit card for both of us just to make the appointment. My friend couldn't make it so when I got to Nikki's I explained to her what happened. She said I had to pay for both appointments. I should've asked her to thread my lip or something since I was already paying for it. Fast forward a week and I notice my brows are getting to a pretty unruly length, that's when I realized Nikki had not trimmed my brows. I paid $40 for this! I don't mind driving from Garland/Sachse area to downtown or Frisco to get my brows done. Or paying $20 for great brows, but I need someone who is consistent. read more

Absolutely love getting my brows threaded by Nikki. She was the first person I let thread and she calmed my nerves just as quickly as she did them. They turned out perfectly arched and I felt so good. Unfortunately, her schedule is always booked so I've resorted back to waxing them if I can't get into her when I need to. Want to try threading for the first time? Book Nikki! read more

Went here today after seeing the ad on @BallerAlert (Instagram) months ago. I have been looking for someone I could trust with my brows. Usually I don't trip over IG ads, but this girl was located in a 15 minute radius and these brows looked natural and good - I mean really good. So that being said, I waited for my eyebrows to grow in as best I could, and walked in. If you check in on Yelp, it says you'll be able to get your brows for $15. THIS. IS. NOT. TRUE. Nikki works by appointment only - and I was lucky to grab one on the spot - and the Yelp offer is 2 years old and pretty outdated. She says this herself. Anyway, she's in a small, luxurious booth at a Beauty office right by Stonebriar Centre. (Basically you walk in and there are plenty of little office boxes and booths, and each one is a different beauty professional.) The place is clean, and it's across from Smoothie King and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Nikki is well-dressed, professional and a natural beauty. She has a calm, serious personality, but she's also very informative. As she does your brows, she'll tell you what she's doing and what to expect if your brows may look "crazy" at first when she's doing them. Example... I used to have thick brows - in high school. Now, they're thin, and they arch, but halfway through it's just a bald caterpillar type look - hairs all over the place, no hard line to see. She told me about the hairs she was leaving that would have otherwise been waxed off, and told me, with time, the hairs that will grow in - which will take a long time - are going to fill in the shape. The other thing? I asked about brow tint/dye - it would have brought the cost to $40 instead of $20. She told me I didn't need it right now as I needed more hair to grow in, but that the tint would make my eyes stand out, allow me to get up and go, and would really help frame my face for that "natural" and effortless beauty look. We spoke a few more minutes about a customized brow plan for me, and overall I feel confident - and comfortable - upgrading my eyebrow budget to fit Ms Nikki in! read more

I absolutely love Nikki! She's such a sweetheart, amazingly talented at what she does. She gets you in and out and you're always satisfied, well at least I know I am! However I tell her I want my brows, she's always on point with it. I have always walked out a happy customer! read more

Nikki is by far the best when it come to lashes and brows. I drive past 10 shops to get to her. I won't let anyone else touch my brows! read more

Nikki is amazing!! I seriously don't trust anyone else with my brows but her. I've gone to a few people in the past that were decent but unfortunately they weren't consistent with the way they did my brows...Nikki on the other hand has consistently done my brows perfectly every single time for the last two years! She is seriously so gifted and to top it off, she is an extremely sweet person. Check her out if you haven't already! You won't be disappointed. read more

Nikki is brilliant with the thread! She definitely is a diamond in the rough and a lover of fuller eyebrows (which I love). She has a website that you can book online and gives confirmation texts before your appts. She's great at what she does and everyone knows it, so book while you can! read more

I had the 7:45 this Thursday night 03/28/19 & I was her last client as I heard Nikki tell someone on the phone that & that she was gonna call her back in 3 mins. I feel I expected a bit more base on the work I saw from her instagram & the videos she posts that made me want to book with her and spend $35 on eyebrows threading in the first place. I don't think she trimmed my eyebrows at all or put the highlighter underneath like she always does on the videos she posts & promotes. I felt like I was rushed, as she was tired and I was her last client of the day. :( I don't know if I'll be coming back. Also, on her instagram or StyleSeat it didn't say cash only at her appts and she had said next time make sure to bring cash only. So I wasn't aware of that. read more

I've known Nikki for some years now, she has always been detailed in her work. I love her passion for what she does. She's such a sweetheart & makes sure her customers are highly satisfied. I have very thick eyebrows and she trains & shapes them so well! She's the best in Dallas! I strongly suggest her to friends/ family & others. I remember being in Austin one weekend and she was also, she was able to get me in without a problem even being out the city. Hands down she loves her work & it shows greatly! read more

Nikki has truly been a blessing from God ! She punctual, professional, kind, and genuinely cares about her craft and clients. You are not just a number with Nikki. She makes you feel comfortable and valued. I am VERRRRRY particular about who threads my eyebrows. I have a unibrow, so I have struggled with brow artists removing too much hair, creating noticeably different arches in each brow, or starting one farther back than the other. With Nikki, I do not have those concerns--I can sit back, relax, and let Nikki perform her works without having to worry about the outcome or asking her to stop every few seconds to make sure she isn't taking off too much. She's such an artist at making your brows look full, finding your natural brow shape, and even creating shapes when they have disappeared or been ruined by someone else. No one that I have ever gone to IN MY LIFE compares to her, and I have literally tried people all over the country and in different parts of the world. I cannot describe her talent in words, but please trust and believe me when I say that you will be very thankful when you try her. read more

The yelp reviews about Nikki are on point. Have you ever experienced someone threading your eyebrows too thin or just not giving your eyebrows the right shape for your face? I came here because the last person that did my brows threaded them to thin. After 2 months my eyebrows are thick and better than ever. Nikki is an expert at what she does, and she knows exactly which hairs to thread and which hairs to leave for growth. I would highly recommend visiting her. read more

I went to Nikki for the first time last week and she is super awesome! My eyebrows are ridiculous! They are so unruly and curly and thick (like my hair - lol) I've been to a lot of threading places and she does amazing work! They were flawless!! read more

Nikki is the only person I've ever let touch my brows and I will never change that. She did such a phenomenal job shaping them and the tint looks very natural. She has given confidence in my new brows. She's also very attentive making sure you're ok and comfortable. I first found out about Nikki through the explore page on Instagram and I'm so glad I did. If you aren't already, make sure to follow her (@browsbynikki) and check out her amazing transformation pictures and videos. The prices, for a person my age (15) are a tad hard to reach so to speak due to the fact I don't have any income, but it's completely worth it. I'll be sure to save up money and try to visit every month. Overall, while visiting traditional salons may be cheaper, I've seen the brow jobs they've done, and it's nowhere near the level of Nikki's brows. read more
