My Insurance adjuster arranged with Eldersburg towing to have my collector car (which was disabled…read moreat my house ) towed to a Ford Dealer to have electronic repairs which the adjuster had scheduled for me. The Ford dealer was expecting my car for the afternoon of Nov. 6, 2019. I then spoke with Steve, from Eldersburg Towing & we scheduled my car to be picked up at 2 PM on Nov 6, so I made arrangements to be at home for the pickup. On Nov. 6, 2 PM came & went without Eldersburg Towing picking up the car or calling, so I waited until at 3:15 PM & then called & spoke to Steve, who said he was too busy to call me & update me. I said, he could have called to update me since phone calls are cheap and he then responded by saying "FORGET IT!!" I said, does that mean you're not coming? and he replied " attitude is everything" & then just hung up on me. Totally disrespectful behavior from someone totally unprofessional! I was unable to contact & update my insurance adjuster, so I left him a message that Eldersburg Towing was not coming for the car & that Steve ignorantly hung up on me. I then called my Insurance Company to report the issue & one of their agents began working to notify the Ford dealership the car would not be arriving as expected. I later received a call from my insurance adjuster who by now, had arranged for Geyers towing in Mt. Airey to handle the towing which now had to be picked up the following morning at 10 AM. The next morning, Geyers towing driver David, called at 9:50 to report he was on route & arrived on time at 10 AM. I was very pleased as David was very professional in handling the loading of my car and the transport to the Ford dealership. The uncaring, disrespectful & totally unprofessional conduct from Steve at Eldersburg towing who did not care about his commitment will ensure I never have nor will I ever recommend Eldersburg towing to anyone, as I relate this experience with Eldersburg towing to my collector car friends !!!

David was very understanding about that, and I truly appreciated his professionalism. Unfortunately, my interaction with the owner was not pleasant. When I spoke with him on the phone, he told me I needed to hurry because he had to "go over things" with me and would be leaving for a few hours. I explained that I didn't need assistance using the device -- I simply needed to pay and pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, he was short and unfriendly. He repeatedly asked if I knew how to use the device, even after I assured him multiple times that I was fine. He then said, "Well, I don't think you'll be able to do it," which felt unnecessary and dismissive. He handed me paperwork to sign with little to no explanation, didn't return my key until I asked for it, and overall made the experience uncomfortable. I walked to my car and started it without any issue. It's disappointing because David provided excellent customer service, and good auto service can be hard to find. However, my interaction with the owner would make me hesitant to return, aside from the required monthly appointments for the device. I hope the owner considers improving customer communication and professionalism, as it would make a big difference in the overall customer experience.

I have had repeat issues with this gas station over the years. Most recently, I purchased a car…read morewash at the pump, entered the number to get the wash... it didn't work, just a loud beep. I went in the store to get a refund and the clerk says to come back next week. I asked why. He said, because I purchased the car wash at the pump. What does this have to do with anything? He refused to help me. They are selling car washes at the pump when you get gas, but I've never seen that it works. I tried once before and was able to get a refund. Never again. When will they invest to fix it or remove the car wash option from the pump? And put a sign out that says the carwash is not working and a cone. Other issues: Multiple other times I have tried to pay for gas at the pump and then am instructed I have to go inside. Another time I tried to get gas and it was so so slow that I had to go to a different gas station all together. The gas price here is often more reasonable than some others in the area but it's not work the extra headache.

I took my car here for paint work after somebody sideswiped my parked car in a lot. I had taken my…read moremother's car here before and they did a stellar job on hers. So I assumed mine would be the same. I was not as impressed with the job that they did on my vehicle. For starters, when I originally went in for an estimate, I got a ballpark estimate (I told them I would not hold them to the eyeball estimate they gave me in the parking lot) of around $500-600 and that it was about a 3-day job. I was under the impression by what I was told that they had to remove the bumper and paint the entire thing to get it to match the vehicle since the pant transfer and scratches covered part of the bumper and the front fender. I also received an estimate for my insurance company from another autobody shop, and I also got the impression from them that the bumper would be removed and fully painted. I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday, fully expecting that they would be finished by Friday or so. I waited until Monday to call them. It was at that time that I learned that the vehicle sat for three days and wasn't even assigned to a painter until Friday! I was told that a manager would call me that evening and explain to me why there was a mixup. I never got that call. I called back on Tuesday to explain to them that nobody contacted me on Monday evening. They eventually found a manager to talk to me and they profusely apologized and explained that they would get my vehicle done probably by Wednesday evening. Wednesday morning I got a call advising me that the job was done. I was kind of surprised because I expected it might take them a little bit longer. I wasn't as pressed about getting the vehicle back as I was making sure it was done correctly. So if they had to keep it for a week, I would've been fine with that as long as it was done right. When I arrived at the shop and looked over the paint job, I was not entirely impressed. There were what look like several dings from rocks, and there was even a smudge in the clearcoat, and there was also a line that looked like maybe the metal flake had flipped. When I addressed all of this with them, they pulled it into the shop to have the painter look at it. At that point, the vehicle died. They had to jumpstart it because apparently it sat for three days and I don't know if the lights were left on, or something like that. They cleaned up the front end and showed it to the painter who apparently thought it looked pretty good. When they pulled the vehicle out, the manager came out and discussed with me that my insurance company didn't pay to have the entire bumper painted, but only to have the paint blended in with the fender to match up. I was very shocked to say the least because the check from the insurance company and my deductible combined was approximately $900. I know that's not a lot of money when it comes to body work nowadays, but I would think it would cover the cost of removing the bumper, prepping it, shooting it, and covering it with clearcoat. There was absolutely no body damage anywhere on the car. It was merely a paint job. And I figured with the supplies and the amount of time that they spent painting it, it wouldn't come to $900, especially when I was told it was roughly a $500-600 job and the fact that they didn't even paint the whole thing! The paint work itself was decent, and they are all very nice people working there. But I don't know that I would take my vehicle there again. I was a little disappointed with what actually occurred compared to what I thought was going to happen. Maybe that was my misunderstanding, but I don't believe so.

From Someone Who Truly Cares About Their Car: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!…read more I brought my car here for repairs after an accident, and the experience was absolutely horrible. First visit: They sent my car back with a dented door--despite alleging that they ordered a "new" door--and it didn't even align properly with the rest of the car. The window wouldn't roll all the way up. Yet this passed their quality control and they thought it was acceptable to return it in that condition. Second visit: The door wouldn't close fully unless SLAMMED shut. They scratched the window tint and hid that fact from me. My rear bumper was also scratched during removal. I waited days for their "specialist" to touch it up--only to find out it was the equivalent to someone using a paint pen from Advance Auto. The paint didn't match or blend at all. Also, the door lock mechanism was never reconnected. Third visit: They failed to hook up the side mirror sensor that alerts you when someone's beside your car. The door trim was improperly installed, leaving fabric edges exposed and causing water leaks inside. The fender and doors still don't align, and the window makes a worrying clanking noise when it hits the bottom--a terrible sound with expensive glass. I also told them that the trim was not properly installed on the bottom of the door, and it was returned to me the exact same way. Despite a verbal agreement to cover the cost of the scratched tint, they never followed through or responded to my inquiries. On top of everything, they never cleaned the interior--all three times, the car was covered in dust. Every other body shop I've been to at least blows the dust out before returning the vehicle. I reached out twice via email seeking resolution and never received a response. I have videos showing how badly the trim was replaced the the window sound (it won't let me upload them).
