So when we needed new roofing, siding, gutters, gutter covers, facia and soffits I obtained several quotes. Erik didn't hesitate to come out to Farmington and quote the project. We had some "slick" salespeople and we had a guy that wouldn't give me a quote (he really didn't like women was my opinion) and would only deal with the insurance company. Erik was professional, honest and not "slick." The price was fair. My test is always the "warm and fuzzies." After a few meetings with Erik, he had my business. Then came the problems. Every color combo for all of the above items had items out of stock, discontinued or something. Erik made a lot of phone calls and several vendor trips. I have no idea how many combos we went through - probably 15 or so. Finally we found a combo that could be put together. YEAH!!!! Erik was patient through all of the "I hate neutrals" moments and several trips of holding colors against the house in different light. Roof install went well and then we had to wait 2 weeks for the siding. The siding installation was completed and they came back and fixed a couple of small items and we were done before Thanksgiving. Erik was around almost daily and even picked up extra FOD on his own. They installed our new lights and Ring cams too. Erik was easily reachable and kept on top of the project and kept me up to date. Very impressed. They were within $7 of the original quote (I think permit fees changed). Very happy and thankful that I selected Erik and Roofs R Us.

Our roof was done sloppily with collateral damage to the dormers that caused a leak. They claim that there is nothing wrong with the roof itself and therefore they do not have responsibility for the leak, and because the leak only occurs with heavy storms with wind, the leak cannot be caused by the roof. However, this leak did not exist prior to their work on the roof. Basically stay away, they are not to be trusted to stand by their work.

All of the roofing companies were quite busy due to recent storm damage. Some didn't return calls, and we even had a couple no-show on scheduled estimates. Matt K, in contrast, was extremely responsive and reliable. We left a message on a weekend, and he called back that same weekend, and scheduled a time for an estimate within a few days. He came for the estimate at the appointed time, and promptly emailed us a detailed, thorough, and competitive bid. He then answered all of our questions thoroughly and knowledgeably about the proposed work and process. Matt was easy to talk with, explained about roofing in terms that we could readily understand, did not up-sell, and provided honest evaluations and recommendations from his decades of roofing experience. Shortly after that, while we were still evaluating our options, we had a leak concern. In response, Matt was able to juggle schedules to fit our replacement in quickly. His crew (led by Brendan), was efficient and careful, and were able to complete the tear-off and replacement in a day, even though winds reached up to 20 mph some of the time. When Scott Landa (who, in the interest of full disclosure, is the husband of a former coworker) came out to take a look at my roof he had an entirely different, and thankfully less expensive, opinion. After a quick repair, Scott was able to fix the area of my roof that I was concerned about. As he was leaving, I asked if I needed a new roof. Scott's answer was no. I not only appreciated Scott's professionalism, but also his honesty.
