I hired Nathan Cole and the firm Kennedy & Sams for help with a contract and related…read morecorrespondence. During our initial conversation, Nathan made it sound like he would personally handle my case. However, once I paid the retainer, most communication came from his associate, and Nathan mostly appeared when it came time to discuss billing. The work itself contained several errors and overlooked key details I had clearly requested in writing. When I raised concerns, I was told these omissions were simply "forgotten." Later, additional charges were requested for services that were never clearly agreed upon. I've worked with many attorneys over the years, and this was by far the least professional experience I've had. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.

Julie was great! I hired her to represent me in an A&B case. I've never been in trouble with the…read morelaw before, so finding a lawyer was something new to me. I called around to a lot of offices and left voice mails with someone even telling me they would call me back. No one ever did. Julie's office got back to me that day and set up an appointment to meet the next week. Julie was very welcoming and took lots of notes to make sure she got the gist of my case correct. She was able to work with me on a payment schedule and kept in touch with me weekly via email in regards to what her plan was with my case. We decided to go for pre-trial probation and Julie had written up a letter to the ADA in order to let them know that is what we would like to go for. She kept me informed that an ada had not yet been assigned to my case. The day of the pre-trial conference, she met me at the Court House and she was very professional in letting me know what would be happening. We agreed to a 6 month pre-trial probation with 10 weeks of anger management classes. Due to Julie's work, the Judge ruled only 1 month of pre-trial probation and no anger management classes (which would have cost me around $500), so I am forever thankful for that. I will recommend Julie to anyone!

He helped change the temporary orders in my favor at the trial. Attorney Morte was very helpful and easy to work with. Attorney Morte responded very promptly to my phone calls and emails and he was available to me off hours when I needed to talk to him. He patiently listened to me and understood my concerns. He reviewed the history of my case and organized my file properly. He prepared very well before each day of hearing, He discussed the case with me before and after each day of the hearing. He was very flexible and accommodated my schedule for in-person meetings. He was upfront about what he will do and what he will not do. He was very reasonable with the cost and spent lot more time on my difficult case then was initially agreed. When the case turned out to take lot longer than initially expected, He stayed on the case and never put any financial pressure on me. He was very compassionate. I found him to have very good legal knowledge and he presented my case very well at the trial. He was very respectful not only to me but also to the other party. He was very professional. Attorney Morte spent a lot more time on my case then what was initially expected and he did not charge for several hours of extra time he spent on my case. He made very good legal arguments in my case. He was very supportive to me in a very difficult situation and he helped me to stay calm throughout the case proceedings. I have worked with another law practice before on this case and I had terrible experience. They did not respond to my emails or phone calls after collecting the fees, they did not represent me properly in the court and they told me one thing before going to the court and told something else in the court. I lost total confidence in the Attorneys. I had to ask the other law practice to withdraw. When I hired Attorney Morte to help me, it was a completely different experience. If I had hired Attorney Morte from the beginning it would have saved me a lot of money and a lot of stress. I was lucky to find him. I strongly recommend him for anyone looking for an attorney. He is very honest and very good attorney.
