We stopped in after going to Back Home Brewery. This place was night and day 100% better than Back Home. Banter has some delicious hazy IPAs to pick from. They also had a nice variety of other beer choices but the IPAs were calling my name. It sounded like that was the head brewer's specialty. The one I went with was absolutely delicious called the Iron Gospel. Great beer! the gentleman working the counter was also awesome and good patrons. Great conversation with some fun people. We will be back on our next trip back to the Springfield area.

That makes absolutely no sense to me for two reasons. 1: why don't they just add 10% to the price on the shelf. 2: why are some of their prices so much higher than other stores around. Some of the prices are ridiculously high. Even higher than Dillons down the street, which can have some ridiculous prices at times. However, I will say that they have some good prices on beer. About a dollar cheaper than Walmart. Actually, beer is about the only reason I go to the store. There is one positive I noticed about this store. They have a good selection of generic cereals. I find that most name brand cereals are overpriced for what they offer. Therefore, it's refreshing to see a store with a larger selection of generic cereals. With Dillons down the street and Walmart not much further, it's worth going in and seeing if there are products on your shopping list that are worth purchasing at this store before or after you go to Dillons and or Walmart.
