I brought my dog in for treatment after a dog fight. The vet also neutered him at the time. I was…read moretold it would be about $250. It was $400.I was told to bring him back in two weeks to have the staples removed. I had to bring him back in a week because the vet had unnecessarily stapled the corner of his eye and it was sealing the eye shut. So Dr. Brown proceeded to remove the unnecessary staple and dig around excessively in the dogs eye, very much seeming to enjoy it. I asked him for pain medication ( which they didn't send me home with after the surgery). Dr Brown seemed shocked "how do you know he is in pain?"he said. As if he didn't believe animals experienced pain. I said because he is crying out and not eating. So I had to bring him back at the two week mark to have the staples removed. Dr. Brown first ripped off a huge scab on the dogs eye after he said he should clip it. He just rips it off,he then removes a cpl staples. While he is removing them he is talking about how we can bring the dog back in for plastic surgery. The dog is dripping blood and crying out in pain,Dr Brown is whistling and smiling to himself. He is enjoying the dogs pain. He removes all the staples to immediately say no its not healed we have to put them all back in. And oh by the way you need to bring him in next week to check on it.I believe thus Dr enjoys these animals pain and that he sets up his procedures to need repeated after care so he can continue to collect more money from pet owners
