It even has an awesome place to grab food and coffee. The festival though one thing rubbed me the wrong way and sadly made me not want to bring my business to andersons again. While at the festival, they had a bounce house for the kiddos- it was a big hit, only downfall was the slide area the kids were literally landing on hard asphalt on their behinds, when I brought it up to the young man he tried his hardest to resolve the problem, they brought little quilts, once again sadly it didn't help the problem. I watched three other kids land hard on their behinds, and the last one a little boy landed and knocked the wind out of himself. After that my friend and I went up to whom I'd assume was the event runner (young lady in blue) and she seemed worried and said she'd try to find something else, there was another gal next to her, when the young gentleman asked if he should close down the house (which he should have kids were getting hurt) she replied "no keep it up, we did all we could" and walked away. I'm appalled that she did not care whatsoever that children were getting hurt. Taking the house down would have not interrupted the event whatsoever but she thought jeopardizing children's well being was fine. Absolutely unprofessional.

Since my last review, my boyfriend has picked up more flowers with balloons and a beautiful plant…read more(super happy that such a classy flower shop is on his way home from work!). This time, the balloons were excellently inflated! The early April bouquet balloon is still floating strong! My boyfriend also continues to report that the gals at Pollard's are consistently friendly and helpful to him when he stops by! :) The flowers in both bouquets were fresh and lasted a very long time. They were both classy, and one reminded me of a wedding table arrangement. The other included perfectly tinted carnations. The Bromeliad he brought home is bold, bright, gorgeous, and with deep green leaves! It came in is a clean glossy white metal tin with a gold metal band trim top. An expansively sized bow was added - I appreciate that Pollard's chose the fire color since it complimented the bright red bromeliad. Normally I remove bows on plants after a couple days, but this one looks so nice that I've left it on. I haven't seen Bromeliads this huge and healthy anywhere before. With all the beautiful plants and positive reviews my boyfriend has been bringing me, I was curious and stopped in this last weekend. The gal who assisted me was the sweetest! I can't recall her name and feel badly about that, but she assisted me in picking out a bird's nest fern and showed me a clever watering trick for it and other plants! You'll have to go in yourself for that... I don't feel quite right giving away their secret here. ;) The bird's nest fern came with a choice of a natural looking basket out of three nice colors... I appreciated that it was lined and I didn't have to buy the basket separately. I checked other stores after buying it and confirmed that the price I paid for combination couldn't be beat anywhere in town! Pollards hasn't disappointed yet, and I like that their setting is a quaint location immediately off of the tree lined (Saunders) road with ample parking. I'm looking forward to the next holiday or other occasion where my boyfriend might pick up another surprise from Pollards or when I get an itch to stop in again myself. :D

I thought I was not going to get to actually see the goats climb it, but as we were enjoying a lovely bottle of wine and delicious charcuterie board when it happened!!! We stood in a long line just to be told we could not purchase anything. We did go back to the car and found some cash for a glass of wine. The cashier recommended their "bacon castle" red wine and it was pure vinegar - we had to pour it out. My Mom wanted to try their wine slushy, which is what we paid for, but then were told they are completely out and we would have to wait at least another 20 minutes for it to be made. We then asked for a spritzer instead, which was cheaper $6 cheaper for two glasses. But when we asked for the money difference back, the cashier looked at us like we were the crazy ones. Plus, the spritzer was not good either. We did like the little goats roaming by the tower though, which provided a nice ambiance, but that's about it.
