Exactly what I was looking for. Andrew took the time to get things right and did a lovely professional job. Highly recommend.

The eye catching blue is hard to miss and the salon is definitely impressive. It is neat and clean and way more hygienic than other waxing salons. The pricing is also the lowest and most affordable. Being a new salon, they have specials on offer and I love using their special eyebrow deal every time I visit. Waxing is usually quite dull, but if you want to have a Good time, ask for Lina. She is extremely good and a whole lot of fun! I felt I was chatting with my bestie and she definitely made waxing a whole lot more interesting. Waxing is painful, but under's Lina's expertise, you almost feel you're at a spa! Sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment as a walk-in. It's also annoying to know the free parking limit inside the mall is only 2 hours. However, they are very quick at waxing and once in, you can be out in under an hour.

I had high hopes for this salon as it is located inside a busy centre and looks great. However this…read morewas definitely not the case. Customer service is terrible. Not even a smile or acknowledgment from any of the staff as you walk in. They seem irritated by your presence and barely look at you when you speak to them. I had a leg wax and was left with larger chunks of wax on the bottom of my leg which i had to scrub off when i got home. I also had patches of hair still visible on areas of my leg. I would have excused the half hearted waxing job, had the customer service been descent. I dont have one nice comment about this place.

The staff are welcoming, friendly and calm. The shop is clean, modern, and smells divine. I had a facial and full-body massage during the three-hour treatment. The facial was my first, and very confronting (no-one needs to see their skin that close up! It look like the surface of a strange alien planet), but by the end, my face felt smooth and amazing. The massage sent me to sleep, so I guess it was good. I've never had anything else done here, but their range of services is impressive: IPL/Laser Hair Removal, MicroDermabrasion, Botox, Restalyne, Peels/Light Therapy, Detox Body Wraps. Waxing, Pedicure Spas, Manicures, Spray Tanning, Solarium, and Tinting. A variety of skin care products are also available. Brands include Dermalogica, MD Formulations, Thalgo, Emergin-C, Decleor, Priori, Sircuit, True. Then the relentless upselling started, I counted 5 different attempts in the first 10 minutes. She took me into the treatment room (a dodgy cupboard under the stairs) and washed my face in preparation for my facial. Then she wandered out to make a phone call to her daughter's school, and to chat to another staff member about her hours. Their prices are cheap, the shop is bright pink, and the service is friendly and often hilarious. Desire is located opposite Westfield and down the road from Burwood Railway station. With dozens of cafes and restaurants on Burwood Rd you can grab a coffee or snack while waiting for your toes to dry. My favourite thing about desire is the wacky waxing options available. Some of the best are listed below (please note that all these options are from the women's menu): * Buttocks wax- $20 * Finger or toe waxing- $6. Good value for all you wolverines out there. * Neck or ears wax- $12 And my personal favourite... * Nose or forehead waxing- $12 For all your embarrassing waxing needs, desire has you covered, so get in there you hairy nosed freaks.

They are fast, the waxing is painless, and they always do a good job. I usually remind them beforehand to shape my eyebrows naturally as I don't want them to go too thin, but they've never made a mistake. I used to go here for manicures/pedicures, but I stopped after the last two manicures I received. The pedicures are great (though, I have to say the little pedicure bins don't seem very sanitary. I've watched a man with really dirty feet get in, and then all they did was spray water into the basin afterwards before the next customer got in- yeck!), and I'd still go in for them, but my last two manicures were a disaster. The same lady did them both times and both times she ended up sanding my ACTUAL NAIL with the electric file- you know, the ones they use on acrylic (fake) nails! The first time she did it, it wasn't a big deal, but the second time, she left little ridges on my nails where the file cut in and they stayed there for months until the nail regrew :( I wish I'd taken pictures or complained, but I didn't. Instead, I just refuse to get my nails done there. I'd recommend Desire for the waxing and pedicures, but be careful with the manicures. I don't think they do the best job as fair as manicures go.
