For months, not out of anger, but sadness. So I needed the healing process started.....STAT. A lady somewhat overheard me while she was working on something else, she stopped and said, hold on let me make a call, the person had the day off, she came right back and said, well she said yes, she's on her way. I almost started dancing, Steffanie Pate is my hero. She took her time working on 2 different ideas for me, meanwhile I wandered around the coolest shop, kind people, they had several sitting aresa, a art room, jewelry cases, rock cases, clothing just to name some, a big tv ,board games, even an atm. They offered snacks. And you guys its not like I'm a high roller, nono I'm a poor , broke sad girl. They all were amazing and I got a beautiful tattoo. Couldn't be happier. The energy in there was uplifting and cheerfully. Plus they're all gorgeous, with great hair, cars ,tea sets, and a goat with a monocle. They stayed late, didn't charge me more, the one guy walked the other worker to her car( like just to be a gentleman) . I was humanity brightly. This for me was therapeutic. # amazing# Steffanie. Classic bait and switch establishment. Management will agree on a flat price and then say "we…read moredidn't know it would take this long" then ask for more money. It's happened to me twice, and other people I know many times. It's very sad, because there are very talented artists that work here, but management is crooked. Very crooked. The woman who runs this place is an alleged thief according the employees who've quit..which are numerous. They can't hold on to staff. I've personally known talented artists that left this place because the felt like they were getting stolen from. I'd steer clear of this place if your looking for an honest establishment.

The three of us were long overdue for pedicures and picked this place partially because it's one of the only ones open on Sundays in Billings. They got all 3 of us in right away. Nice comfortable massage chairs. I could see lots of attention to cleanliness of the basins, tools (sterilization of metal tools), etc. The overall feel of the place is a bit dingy, but the things that mattered were definitely clean. The nail technicians were very nice, and spent a lot of time on our pedicures!! Two of us chose their "Deluxe" which at first I thought was a touch on the pricey side at $55, but an hour and a half later my feet/legs had been scrubbed, scraped, massaged with hot stones, lotioned, paraffin dipped and hot-toweled. Well worth the price! The other of us got the next package up which was another $10 and included some funky extra moisturizing gel soak and an extra 5 minutes of massage. They also used fresh fruit in the massage and in the soaking water- I was shocked when I saw them bring out the freshly cut limes and oranges and incorporated them into the treatment. We were even offered champagne or wine, which we did not take them up on at this visit but are definitely planning on partaking the next visit, especially because they told us we could bring our own booze! They got pretty busy, and did a good job of not rushing through our pedicures to get to the next person. The nail techs were all very friendly and just the right amount of chatty and fun. We will absolutely be back!!

U nails which is also called LUX NAILS & SPA was one of the worst experiences I have had at a nail…read moresalon. I got my old set of nails taken off and asked for a new set to be put on. When I started with her the nail tech insisted on knowing where/who I went to for the old set I took off. She wouldn't stop asking me and I ended up lying so she would stop. The tools she used to take off my old set looked very dirty, nothing about this place seemed sanitary and I ended up changing my mind buy reluctantly getting a basic cuticle treatment instead. And still each file she took out was dirty and very used, the clippers as well. I asked her about sanitizing of there tools and she lied to my face saying they were brand new. They clearly were used probably within the last hour with no sanitation. The cuticle treatment was not done properly either but I just paid for it and left so I wasn't in that awkward feeling anymore. She charged 40$ for the cuticle treatment and 10 for the removal which is almost twice what I have paid before for those services to be done correctly. I'm never going back and I don't know how these people pass health inspections because all of the nail techs shared tools and didn't use gloves or wash their hands between the few clients I seen in there. I don't recommend anyone having services done at this salon.
