Our tour didn't eat inside cause we had many places to go. I couldn't see it this place was large or not or if they had a lot of seatings. It was sour, briny; basically, underextracted. I was so shocked because the English-speaking baristas were helping other customers pick things based on their flavor notes and preferences. My cinnamon bun was yummy at least - a bit of crisp texture, and satisfying gooeyness in the middle. That said, I need a place to work while I'm caffeinating, so I'll have to find a different place in Munich to while away my mornings.

There is parking in the back of this shop and is accessible before you get to the shop itself. It's a decent sized place with tons of coffee and coffee brewing accessories. They carry a variety of teas, chocolate and other goodies. They have a number of sweet items like cakes and muffins available. Unfortunately my German experience of "looks better than it tastes" has proven right once again and hence, the four stars. I am still looking for a cafe that serves amazing coffee and cake. The coffee here is very good, and I loved it. They can brew you something special from their long list of coffees using multiple brewing methods, if you so desire. The place was packed by the time we left. Staff are friendly and the service is pretty quick. I would come back here for the coffee again. Glad I found this place and would come again when in the area.

A must stop for coffee lovers, they sell all kinds of specialty brands (at a price, obviously). What I really liked was the personal service by the owner himself, he told us about the coffees and different preparation methods. We could also take a smell of the different beans that are kept in large metal canisters - the difference is amazing. Upon reading the descriptions at first I thought they'd be exaggerated, but now that I've tried some of the coffee I can tell you it's worth it. The only downside is that unfortunately they don't take as much effort to find and sell good milk and croissants as they do with their coffee (why ruin a great coffee with a mediocre milk?). Also you cannot really sit outside because it's too noisy due to the road.

I could get convinced that the reviews were trustworthy too. My husband and I were delighted by the quality of the coffee. I must say that i was hoping for a slightly higher "coolness factor" from the cafe interior itself, as there are some really interesting pieces of vintage coffee-making equipment and the barista school within the cafe, even plenty of certificates from numerous barista competitions, including one personal guiness record entry hanging on the wall..... which could all be made into a very hip environment. However, by the end of our stay, I realized these guys are just about making excellent coffee and the rest doesn't matter that much after all... Fair enough!
