If you grew up in Kenai and remember Wings - the eatery that used to be in the airport - then you'll be happy to know the airport once again has the best fries in Kenai! They are crisp and fried to perfection. While not what I remember as being the amazingness of the Wings fries, these definitely please the palate and the belly. I've eaten here twice now. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The lunch menu is a fun one, and I had the chicken "burger" (I don't know the exact name). It was what you expect of a chicken burger, though the bun was not my favorite it still seemed fresh and tasty. The french fries were awesome, though, and I was a happy customer. Tonight, dad wanted to try this place out for his birthday dinner, and they did not disappoint. Dad ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, Mom had the pork chops and baked potato, and I had the sirloin steak with the fries (I'm telling you, they are the best!). We each got a side salad (which is a BIG side salad). The blue cheese dressing is house made and yummmmmmmmmmm! We shared an appetizer of the cheese fries. Dad and I both agreed that we should've added the chili - but that the half portion was more than enough for the three of us! Each dinner plate comes with a choice of potato, the veggie of the day, and either soup or side salad. My steak was perfectly cooked, it was actually RARE! Dad devoured his chicken fried steak plate in record time. And Mom was shocked and very happy that she got TWO pork chops on her plate - and they were good sized chops! Since it was Dad's birthday dinner, they sent out a complimentary dessert - a peanut butter cookie topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce... and two deep fried oreos. He was a very happy man, and did not share his plate with either me or mom. Over all the meals have been very good. Service is a little on the slow side, but they haven't even officially opened yet they're still in their soft opening. I assume it will improve in speed as the crew gets more used to the menu. Friendly service. Ordered chicken sandwich, chicken strip basket and some fries for my kids. The chicken sandwich was a tough, rubbery texture and seemed unlike any chicken I've ever seen. We couldn't eat it. I told the waitress about it and sent it back but there was no offer to remove the price of the sandwich from our bill even though we could not eat it. Just disappointing when things are so expensive everywhere these days. We never eat out and this one time we did and then we can't even eat the food. Fries were way too salty for our preference. Won't be going go back, unfortunately. read more

Convenient location for travelers and locals to enjoy. Welcoming and friendly staff & environment. Loved the local artwork for sale on the walls and big windows to watch airplanes fly. Delicious coffee & even more delicious freshly-made donuts! We got there later in the day (around 2pm), so their breaded options were not available (onion rings, breaded chicken sandwich, etc,...) as well as some of their sandwich options, but I settled for the grilled chicken sandwich that I would gladly go back for. The prices were a bit on the expensive side, but that's a trend I've been experiencing at a lot of places due to costs of everything going up. Claim to be the best donuts in town, yet a local coffee shack that lives on the side of the road makes better donuts at a much more affordable price. I paid nearly $30 for 6 donuts? Simple math tells you that a dozen donuts costs $60.... What in the heck is that price? Furthermore they are in the airport so it's an awkward location. If you know how to make good donuts and live in the Soldotna/Kenai area you could make a killing, just reference the late "moose is loose" bakery where the owners retired and left a major gap in the community. read more

The service and food was good. The Sr cheeseburger was just the right size. The fresh made fries were yummy. This is a great place.

Excellent flavors, handmade, great service, vibe, and prices for the quality. I had to laugh at the idea that the next time I'm driving through Kenai, I'll totally come out of my way to a cafe in the airport for a meal. A friend and I got the spicy chicken sandwich, Philly cheese, onion rings, and chili cheese fries. All delicious. Maybe we'll try some of the many healthier options on the menu next time. read more

This place is excellent. This is a coffee dimond in the rough of Kenai and some of the best I've had in Alaska. Recently opened at the Kenai airport, it's an unassuming location but great atmosphere, conversation, food and of course coffee. Stopped by today for the first time, had heard about how good the donuts were. Well I don't think I will be going back. Tried a breakfast biscuit sandwich, driest biscuit I ever had. Needs more fat in the mix,too dry and crumbly. the only fat in the sandwich came from the greasy sausage. Then while my wife couldn't finish her coffee, we got to over hear how the donut maker screwed up his donut mix and had to reproof it because the dough was too runny. Well that makes for a tight ,over fried,grease heavy donut. Left my wifes mouth "filmy" feeling. Maybe don't discuss problems out front at the front counter and the young lady that was admonishing him, with hair that length, consider a hair net. Not what I want to see coming out of the kitchen. Maybe given some training and a better recipe or two you could eat breakfast here. But for me it's a big NO. read more

Breakfast was tasty, fresh and service excellent. What was even more amazing was watching the constant flow of devoted followers dropping in to pick up the maple/bacon donuts and other delights. They ran out, which I'm told is a daily occurrence. Advice, come early, get your donuts. Or do as we do and sit and enjoy the views of airplanes and donut lovers. read more

Ordered a London Fog and a donut. Told I had to sit on the couch and not a table. London Fog made wrong. They fixed it but said they wouldn't charge me for it. I was under the impression that was what they charged me for in the first place. A confusing and disappointing visit. read more

Poor service and over priced food. Ordered a burrito that came out with an undercooked slab of egg smothered in cheese, which is not listed on their menu, and a smashed up frozen sausage patty. Instantly makes your stomach churn. Also, make sure to read off each ingredient you're ordering so there is no confusion. I've eaten a lot of restaurants and Kenai and I've tried a lot of cuisine in crazy places around the world but I can honestly say the best food I've ever had as far as comfort home cooking solid food is Brothers café. The staff was courteous and friendly they work hard to remember who you are and what you like to order the specials are always engaging and interesting in the pastries and desserts are out of this world. read more
