Careful with the wording in your contracts. I went in thinking everything would go well. The sales lady seemed so nice. She kept specifying that anything we brought up before sale would be looked at- That they legally HAD to. So, after the test drive, we brought up a few problems we noticed, one being a large rust spot on the inside of the driver door. We were told by Audrey, that they would send it out and have it sanded and repainted. While putting notes in the contract, she showed us as she was writing: check breaks, front and back, client hears noise, check wheel barring, 'touch up porte en avant gauche. ' I thought nothing of it at the time because of our conversation. When I go to pick up the car two weeks later, I mention the rust and she states that it was sanded. She does NOT take me outside to see the car. I then see her outside the car I'm about to buy, with the driver door open for quite a while. She comes back in to pass me the keys to the car we were trading in so I ask her if everything is okay with the door. She states yes, that she was just doing touch ups. I ask AGAIN, if the rust was sanded though, and she says yes. So I continue waiting for the finance portion of the appointment. When I was finally done with the finance aspect, it was an hour and a half later, had my kid with me, and just got in and drove away as it was well passed her supper time. The next day, I go check, and all that was done was a botched paint touch up over all the rust. On top of that, she must have gotten it all over her hands, because it's on the steering wheel and the seat. I write to her and tell her that I will be in on Monday to deal with this. She messages me back Monday morning telling me that there's nothing more they can do. That the paint wasn't like that when she saw it Friday and that it had been smooth. It must have been the rain (It rained for about 5 minutes Sunday). When I returned and spoke with a manager, it will now be dealt with, however, she stated that paint pen was indeed a touch up. That she never said it would be sent in or sanded. I was also told by her, that when they checked the wheel barring, it was just a loose screw and they tightened it... I'm not a car person, so I found out later. But wheel barrings, don't have screws. So that was a nice touch from her... If I had wanted to deal with sneaky car problems, I would have went to H Gregoire. I expected more from a dealership, but shame on me. I do not recommend dealing with them... read more

Purchasing a vehicule should feel like a positive exciting experience. It started off well enough with a nice sales person (Marc Andre) and shortly after turned into the most unpleasant experience I've ever had. Stephanie Gendron the finance manager was by far the most unpleasant person Ive ever dealt with. My husband originally mentioned over the phone that he would be interested in taking the total loss insurance and anti rust service. After doing research I noticed that my car insurance was offering a far more competitive rate therefore once we came to the dealership to sign and explained that we would not purchase the insurance, Stephanie Gendron raised her voice yelling and humiliating us that if we were not taking the additional service, that she would cancel the entire transaction. Feeling embarrassed and humiliated we asked to speak to the dealers manager Patrice who seemed willing to not want to lose the sale however was more concerned about the little commission he was making and made it a point to remind us over and over again that he was not making money in this transaction. Once he agreed to remove the total loss insurance and antirust module, Stehanie Gendron kept cutting him off in front of us saying "Why would you do that for them, you made me work for nothing". Then she turned to my husband and yelled "You sir who works in sales, how does it not bother you to not get paid for a service"? I was livid and ready to walk out of the dealership on the spot. I have never felt more offended and humiliated by anyone!! Never in my professional career have I ever attempted to treat anyone with such rudeness!! How are they still in business? The poor reviews show similar issues of poor customer service. Does Mazda have no interest in retention and referrals of clients???? At this point Stephanie who would not let go of her sour attitude rudely snapped that her shift was soon over and that there was no way that she was redoing the paperwork . She refused to look us in the eye and said, "You will just have to come back another day". Why we came back is beyond me! I came back a few days later for my scheduled appointment with Stephanie Gendron. I went to her office, sat down and said hello to her. She completely ignored me and refused to even address me. She was in her office training a new employee named Chloe . Chloe the new employee seemed so uncomfortable, that she took me aside and said "come with me, I will take care of you, your papers and your delivery". How is this Stephanie even training new employees and showing her the example to ignore customers who you are making a lesser commission from?? Had it not been because we were so far invested into the transaction, we would have left and never stepped foot back there again. I am kicking myself for not having walked out!! Picking up my new car has left me underwhelmed feeling zero excitement. The entire experience was horrendous!! My five years with this car will be a continual reminder of the awful experience I had! I will not only never purchase or recommend a Mazda again but I will make sure to post the necessary reviews throughout Google to assure that no one else ever goes through what I have with this dealership. Had there been a way to post less than one star I would have as 1 star is too much!! read more
