i spent the majority of my time here from the time i was 13 until i was almost 18. my best friend in the world is still a friend i made here. the two of us more or less ran the place for a few years as working students and had the time of our lives. i miss it terribly. the owners are still the same lovely folks, but sadly our old trainer left for personal reasons even before we did, which ultimately lead to our leaving as the "family" just wasn't the same without the big-sister-we-never-had there.
it's a big old new-england style red barn with a gorgeous wooden interior... they just don't build them like that anymore. in recent years they've flattened the back fields to make level paddocks. it is safer, as you can see all of the horses while they're out all day... but i really miss those gorgeous rolling hills and old trees they had out there, it was great for trail rides. read more
