They scheduled me for today March 25th which is the only day off I have from work I might add (tuesdays), and I drove an hour and a half to get to my appointment only to be told again that they wouldnt see me simply because I didnt confirm my appointment verbally with them. I thought I confirmed my appointment when I called and was forcefully rescheduled for today? Even more infuriating is the fact that I literally called last thursday to confirm my appointment date with them which was another verbal confirmation that I provided. But because I didnt answer their call the day before (because I work a 10 hr shift at a call center) they cancel my appointment that Ive been waiting three weeks for? What is the purpose of even having an appointment if you're not going to honor it? Needless to say, I won't be wasting my time coming back if this is how they treat their patients. Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a dental office and its quite obvious they only care about lining their pockets with this type of practice because after sharing my experience several others I know had similar experiences with this company. She gladly ran our insurance for us to determine the cost. Thank God my Blue Cross/Blue Shield was accepted. They ask you to allow 30-minutes prior to your appointment for completion of the paperwork and it took it. The paperwork was extensive but not unusual for the first visit to a medical visit. The building is well laid out and the address is easy to navigate to. The waiting room on our visit could have been a little larger since several people were waiting. The waiting room was equipped with a television and public bathroom, just outside the waiting room.

I was visiting Martin County, Beauty, Kentucky from California for my husband's aunt 90th birthday party. Early into my stay, I started having issues with my "braces wire." It was loose and digging into my gum. My attempts to fix it was futile; resulting in me googling orthodontic services. I called Keaton Orthodontics and Lisa answered. She advised she would need to discuss my situation with Dr. Keaton. He agreed to see me and quickly identified the problem. Then advised his dental technician how to take care of it. Took our just turned 4 year old to this dentist because we had been traveling over an hour to his…read moreprevious dentist that retired and we saw his replacement once and just didn't feel as comfortable as we did prior to and wanted to find a new one. We were aware that our child had a cavity or 2 that was beginning to bother him a lot and the previous dentist only done O.R. sedation for kids and this one was known to do office sedations. Our little man has a bit of fear and we let him show and voice his emotions and we haven't raised a brat but he is a little spoiled. When we got there he didn't want to go in do to fear but he relented and let me (dad) carry him in once in the office which was 10/10 for toddlers, the staff was super nice and made him feel very comfortable as they took his patient picture. Once he was called back they advised us only one parent could go back and we thought that may be an issue but mom went back with him. Note that we are both very medically inclined as I have 30+ years as a paramedic and mom has 13 years as an ER nurse and 4 as a nurse practitioner. Once back our son began to act up again and wouldn't let them brush his teeth as he was mainly crying maybe even screaming to a degree. He has undiagnosed ADHD and is very very intelligent and prefers an order to things. Once the dentist came in my wife said our son did fine as he sat back opened his mouth and let the dentist check his teeth. Somewhere after checking his teeth our son once again began to cry wanting dad to carry him as he was finished. This arrogant asshole of a dentist took it upon himself to tell our son to stop crying get down out of moms arms and walk as dad wasn't going to comeback and carry him. This caught my wife completely off guard as she never said anything back because she was also trying to console our son and her being the medical professional she is simply isn't used to seeing a medical professional act in this manner. Our son absolutely loved th office and the staff as he even told the one that he loved her as we left but we will NEVER be back to this dentist because if he acts like this in front of parents then how is he going to treat our son if he sedates him. ABSOLUTELY NOT BE BACK! And if dad would've been the one parent back with our son ... Well let's just say that sob was very very fortunate mom was back there!
