It was nice to find a local grocery store and be able to find a few snacks and drinks for the road without having to shop at the big national chain store. Friendly folks and a clean store, thankfully the girl at the checkout asked if I had a shoppers card and when I said I lived in North Carolina, she ran the "store" number so I could get the discount. Well this use to be my all time favorite store. I now will go to Kroger instead. The produce lacks big time. My biggest complaint are the cashiers. They don't acknowledge you. They spend the whole time talking with the bagger. I think the manager needs to step up and correct this. It is ridiculous! I will not be returning. read more

Clean place, friendly smiling people from the moment you walk in. We were looking for snacks; especially snacks for a road trip. For us that means adult beverages for roadside picnics, deli meats & cheeses, crackers, fruit, pecans or walnuts, and probably some not agreed upon chips. First off let me tell you that I did not come prepared for this trip. Typically I have a little box with cutting board, paring knife, a few ziplocs, and a few additional accoutrement. I was a slacker and hadn't packed a thing. So we were on the lookout not just for a few food items but also the necessities from my little list. We slowly make our way through the store, we don't find all the items (we really need a cutting board). When the store manager comes by he greets us, asks if there's anything we need help with and we tell him. He tells us he's not sure, but he thinks he knows exactly where the right kind for our trip is. Just a few minutes later he tracks us down with a little set of cutting boards. Bingo! As you can tell from the photos we walked around, saw all kinds of different offerings. The shelves were well stocked, the staff were all friendly ... even when directing me to the ladies facilities. No idea how this store is if you have a "shoppers card", all I know is without it the prices are high. When you ask for one, you're told you have to do it online not in the store. Employees were so rude we left out Cart and walked out. Too many other places to go. read more

I love the availability of products and the store cleanliness is a big plus. The meat Dept. is exceptional, always stocking fresh cut meats, and if they are not in the case they will certainly get it for you if at all available. Kuddos to Brookshires in Paris Texas!! read more

Very disappointed in the valentines my hubby got me from this store. He stopped in their little tent they set up every year and bought what turned out to be apparently last years leftovers. It had a little teddy bear that looked like it had been run over, two wine glasses, Hershey kisses and a box of Russell Stover. All the chocolate is old and I won't be eating it. The BB date is June 2019, which is the biggest clue that they just pulled it out of storage and stuck it in the tent. The only thing worthy in the gift set were the wine glasses, but they aren't worth the money he paid for the whole set. He goes there every year for my valentines but I bet this was the last year he will. read more

The best grocery store in Paris. There store is always clean and the employees are happy to help you with whatever you might need. Rocky, the store manager, is always quick to assist the front end if they are busy and he's brought items into the store that I couldn't find on the shelves. If Brookshires doesn't have it, then we don't eat it. read more
