Where I live in California there are no Aldi's, but there are Trader Joe's which I love as well. I have to tip my hat to Joe's in terms of quality and they do have name brands that are more recognizable. Aldi's is just as relevant, just not as many name brands. It's more designed like a conventional grocery store than TJ's, which is cool. I always look forward to my Aldi's experience and hope they expand into the Central Valley of California.

She took the time to show us how to use the CVS app, explained the available deals, and even encouraged us to sign up for the monthly membership to maximize our savings. Because of her assistance, we had a very positive first impression. Unfortunately, our experience during our most recent visit was completely different. While using the self-checkout for one of our transactions, Leonora suddenly shut down the register and directed us to a staffed checkout lane. We had chosen self-checkout specifically so we wouldn't hold up a cashier while completing multiple coupon transactions. When we moved to the register, Sabrina, the cashier, appeared irritated and acted as though helping us was an inconvenience. After completing one transaction, she instructed us to get back in line for our remaining purchases so she could help other customers. As she called the next customer forward, she loudly announced, "They're couponing," which made us feel embarrassed and singled out, as though we were doing something wrong. Leonora eventually took over the transaction again, but by that point we already felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We still needed the items, so we completed our purchases, but the entire experience left us feeling harassed and judged for simply using the coupons and promotions that CVS advertises and encourages customers to use. I don't believe customers should be treated differently for taking advantage of store deals. Coupons are offered to help people save money, and no one should be made to feel like they're doing something wrong by using them. What made this experience even more disappointing was that Leonora had previously been so helpful and supportive when teaching us how the program worked. We even signed up for the paid membership based on her recommendation. I hope management addresses this situation and reminds employees that all customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of how they choose to shop or save money. Customer service is a very important to me.

Old slender brown haired lady, turned around, opened window and very hateful said, " You do not have to run over the bell again. We are extremely busy in here", then shut the window again. About another 5 min pasted and she opened the window again and just looked at me, no what can I help you with or anything. I had absolutely had enough with her attitude! I told that perhaps next time a customer is sitting here for a while she should at least let them know that she is very busy and she will be with me as soon as she can. Common curtsey. Apparently Mrs. Attitude took offense to my suggestion and said " I do not have to and I am not serving you today". So I went across the street and Riches liquor store. She told me she had to check out the people in the store, and i said, yes but i was there before all of the people she had checked out, it went back and forth a little, then I said fine, then another lady, I think was the manager said, "we have to check out the inside customers first and that she could refuse me service, to which i said no need I was gone and left. If the inside customers come first, then you need to say that up front or have a sign. I will not be coming back to this store, never mind that it is the closest to me . Customer service means something me and this store just has bad attitude.
