I travelled through that part of Texas late in December 2013 stopped for gas and food. The…read moreservice was very friendly and the food was really good....the coffee was hot and very rewarding after being on the road all day. I bought several food items and a newspaper....the food was fresh (NOT outdated) and was priced very reasonable. I would go out of my way and pay a little more for friendly service and good food. Lucky for me R & R had a laudry mat...where I refreshed my clothing supply. Ya can't beat it....good food, hot coffee, friendly people and laundry facilities...all in one place. Oh yeah...I got good advice from patrons...who warned me to avoid other neighboring services stations, restuarants ect. GOOD job R&R.....I'll be back in the Fall of 2014 when I once again travel the wide open spaces of Texas.

Cost Cutting: Well if you don't see "inflation" kicking in, you better have your eyes checked…read more Everywhere store I've gone to has some sort of price increase. Some things I agree with, but other product increases I consider "Corporate Greed". Anyways most people have a sweet tooth at some point of time in their life. Some more heavier than others. I use to but it faded. However I do enjoy some sweet stuff. The other day I was picking up some licorice (LOL) and noticed a candy I had never scene. It was called "Zebra Bars" . They come in a small bag individually wrapped. And the main element is "Peanut Butter". They say the Bars are their most natural product with the fewest ingredients. Homemade peanut butter from fresh roasted peanuts, sugar for sweetness, and a dash of salt for savory goodness. I bought a bag for $1.25 at a discount store. When I bought them I thought they would be hard candy like many other kinds. No, they were much softer and easier on your teeth. I gave them a 4 they could have put a bit more peanut butter in them. But they were good and I suggest if you like Peanut Butter, buy a bag.

They also make custom drinks like cherry lemonade, vanilla sweet tea and the desserts are scrumptious!!! Love it! Linda Daniel

COMPLAINT ON CASHIER BRITTNEY... A couple months ago I had…read moregone shopping and had noticed about an hour after leaving the store that I had misplaced my phone, I had gone back to every store I had been to starting from Ollie's and went to every store we went to after and still had no clue where my phone was. I had happened to have a quick conversation with the cashier that had checked me out, Brittney, and she had told me that she had no clue of any phone being turned in and had not seen one but if she did would contact me at the number I had left if my phone was found. At this point I had gone back to my house and got my iPad and logged into find my iPhone so I could track my phones last location and it popped up at Ollie's as it's last active location. I went back to Ollie's with the iPad and started pinging my phone which lead me to your manager who had informed me that the cashier Brittney, whom I had spoken too the first time I came into the store, had the phone hidden along the side of her cash register. This does not only look bad on her for lying about the missing phone but on the stores overall integrity. My phone had been returned to me but I was not satisfied with the way it had been gone about. I was not aware of the cashier's name until I went back and had recognized her from this encounter before. Honest workers are better than sneaky ones.

Needless to say, the 2 workers were only focused on getting closed. The girl worker was actually looking at the time and mentioning with a hint that it was nearly 9pm. I ended up leaving since the male worker asked if I have Apple Pay, so they wouldn't have to do anything on the cash register.

The place has a busy drive-thru business and the inside seating area is also very busy at lunch time. The food is really good and the staff is very accommodating. We can tell hot coffee is not in big demand but they brew fresh coffee especially for us each time. The inside dining area is relatively small and it is always very clean. The decor is what I would call a modern diner with a walk-up counter that serves inside walkup takeout customers as well as servicing the drive thru window. Table service is provided for inside seating by the counter staff so they are very busy. Check out the menu and stop by, you won't be disappointed.
