This location on Frank St in Lufkin is very well organized and always clean. The employees are always kind and helpful if you need assistance. The produce and meat depts are the best for selection and freshness. In the deli their fried chicken is just great and they have two chili cheese dogs for 3.99 which has to be the best buy ever. I also use their shop online with home delivery and the service is amazing. It would be nice if they would reduce the delivery charge for senior citizens who no longer drive who live not far from the store. read more

Brookshire's is another Texan institution! They're located in small places larger corporate chains ignore as well as the Beeg City. This location is always well stocked, clean and friendly, just like every other BB's I've been to. Also, they actually and to a large extent support local schools and charities in each community where they locate. Choose them over the Wally World locations which are getting dirtier and worse since having nearly monopolized the country's grocery and local markets. read more

We always try to avoid shopping at the crazy Walmart store. Generally, this is a great place to shop. It's quiet, peaceful and friendly. I would like to see more choices of Smuckers Simply Fruit jelly. Raspberry. Do you have something against raspberry jelly? And then there's no Milky Way Midnite bars. The dark chocolate one. I think this is the best Brookshire Brothers in town. It has a nice beer/wine selection, and their deli always has something new to try. They also have a great selection of pre-made foods, so if you're in a hurry you grab a convenient lunch or dinner on the fly. Also, they have sushi, and it aint half bad. There's bulk items for sale here, which is nice. The location near the loop is convenient, and being near a gas station and car wash doesn't hurt. read more

We frequent here and other locations due to the friendly staff,clean stores and the lunch and breakfast deals...now we usually come every day for breakfast and lunch or a snack in between. They have the 5 for 5 deals ..well since we are on a budget I'm in remission so money is spent primarily on treatments do my daughter and I like to come here for a quick bite it's always fresh. But today they no longer have the 5 for 5 so I just got my daughter the crispitos. I still gave it high stars ,the only issue was the change of prices in delivering and meal area. read more

New to the Lufkin area I went in search of a "nice" grocery store. Don't get me wrong, this is a sweet little town full of very friendly folks, but it leaves a lot to be desired in the grocery store department. I guess I'm a little spoiled when it comes to my weekly visits to the "market places" in the Houston area. HEB is one of my favs...but not in this town...can't tell you how disappointing that trip was. After seeing Wes T.'s review here, I decided to give this Brookshire Brothers on Frank Ave a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I found it to be neat and clean with a very friendly staff. The wine & beer selection was lovely, but the produce section was even better!..a little small, but clean with lots of beautiful choices that I didn't expect to find in a small town store. There is a nice deli and the meat section was really clean! I confess, I was in a hurry and did not get through the entire store, but I'll definitely be back to check it all out. read more

love this store EXCEPT....been here before and bought a generic laxative for 1$...came back today and the exact same laxative is now $4.69!! the exact same one,,i've bought this item several times over a period of a few years.. all the other stores still have that same item for 1$.. go figure..it's BS!! read more
