John is very nice, gave us great advice on meals, pubs, drives, etc. He called ahead to the Clare Island ferry to have them hold for us, as we would be late due to car troubles, and the pilot DID! Only in Ireland! Clean, comfortable, safe, with a singing host. They also have a holistic spa, with massage, aroma therapy, etc. If you do the Crough Patrick pilgrimage you will need this! Even…read morethough the owner has some serious health issues, he and his wife made sure to make arrangements for the hotel to still be staffed for our stay. The rooms are clean and newly updated and the breakfast is amazing! This was the first place we stayed in Ireland and it was a wonderful introduction to a cute town with friendly people! :)
