I also liked that the majority of their tanks (if not all, can't really remember) were community tanks, so you could see which colors and fish went well with one another - much more helpful than having to imagine for yourself when building out tanks. Most fish stores keep breeds separate. They have solid policies in place including a 7 day return policy on fish. They also ask you bring in water samples in the event a fish dies on you and WONT sell you new fish until you can provide quality water samples. This is a fantastic business practice in my opinion. They are also very helpful and love talking about the pets they sell. I will definitely be using them for my future tanks. (They also had very cute puppies)

While intimidating at 120 lbs when full grown, he captured the hearts of everyone who came to know him. My favorite story is when we were taking a walk in Washington DC along the Mall, when a little girl walked up behind him, and her mother asked if it was okay if she pet him. We had no hesitation about allowing it, as he was so gentle and had been raised in a household with my 4 kids. She pulled a tuft of shedding hair from his backside, looked at it in surprise, and then tried to put it back on him. He was healthy most of his life, with no real problems. But he had to be put down in 2019 due to cancer. I'm going back to this business now for my second shepherd, even though I now live multiple hundreds of miles away. That is how much I trust these people and their animals.
