I had a short of cortisone in my foot and was charged 600.00 plus like 300 for the ultra sound. When I went back he tried to give me a second shot but I did not want to be sore. When you charge those crazy rates, you should inform the client first. Now I am responsible because I have a deductible of 1500.00. Next time I will use someone else and not someone local. Very upset and freaked out,i got her an appointment within days.( I had no reason to suspect irregularity in her heartbeat,her visiting nurse(2x a week) always checked her vitals which were always very good,and even had shown me a trick to see if her blood pressure was normal,press on her foot and the area turned white where you pressed and immediately went back to its normal color when you stopped pressing. her primary care and other doctors also never said anything about any abnormality in her heart)When we got there,her primary care asked us about why we were there and I told the situation and he checked her again and said she was fine,there were no abnormalities in her heartbeat,which greatly relieved me. my issue with this podiatrist is,what was he doing trying to diagnose a Non-existing heart problem anyhow?If he is trained as a foot doctor don't go diagnosing issues that aren't in your specialty that you know nothing about. it cost me a lot of unneeded worry and anxiety. and we are hearing from them now that we have an appointment with him on the 6th of January. I tried to cancel it,i had to leave a message on an answering machine,and hope they get it because uncancelled or no-show appointments are charged for. we will NEVER go back to that podiatrist willingly ever again.
