Feeling frustrated, I decided to try Dr Scherrer and I am very glad I did. He corrected the gum damage I had which was caused from poor fitting crowns and replaced them with beautiful new ones. Dr. Scherrer really is a perfectionist and does what it takes to get things right. His work has been complemented by my Endodontist who said that in all his years he has not seen this quality of work very often! The office is very clean, beautiful and state of the art. I have never sat in a more comfortable dental chair. The head rest is softer and the chairs even have a soft massage feature which really helps you to relax. This week on almost no notice I informed them that my insurance was going away at the end of the month and they got me in for a cleaning and fillings in subsequent - even staying open the Friday before Labor Day to accommodate me as the last patient of the day. Dr. Scherrer did the work himself. Staff is always respectful to me and I never have to wait if I show up on time. I will be back.

Eh, me thinks not... I have not been to a dentist in MANY…read moreyears, but take extremely good care of my chompers. While they are nice, they are cleaning not only your teeth, but your wallet. I was recommended to Ridgewood Dentistry and now regret taking someones word as I am a little more than ticked off at them. It turns out I needed a root canal on a cracked tooth. I had to go to an Endodontist as they would not do it at Ridgewood. Mistake one... I should have demanded a refund and sought another dentist. Root canal took two visits... Work after root canal @ Ridgewood totaled SIX visits, and one for pain I am in months after. With great insurance and being told I was in network, I would up spending over $2700 for a root canal I could have had in my home state for $500 out of pocket with no insurance at a VERY accredited dental firm. Oh, And my teeth happened to be so clean, I couldn't tell I had a tooth cleaning performed. So, I DO take very good care of my teeth, even more so after a very expensive, and still painful experience.

No one likes to go to the dentist. No one wants added headaches to just get in. I'm sure the Doctor is great- but we wouldn't know.
