It says assisted living but if you can't feed yourself, they won't feed you. Even if it is temporary.

I will probably add more context soon. There were many happenings that occurred here. I would urge…read moreanyone considering this facility, to strongly reconsider. I only say this out of concern from the happenings/contacts we encountered. This isn't the choice for your family. There's favoritism, gaslighting, alleged violence and more. Anyone who has spent a significant amount of time in this building, has beared witness to this. Caretakers are overworked, underpaid, and are afraid to escalate issues with residents with extreme behavioral issues. We spent a considerable amount of time in this building. If you weren't a family member, you were made to feel as if you were in the way. You were disparaged, gaslighted, othered and threatened with being searched/barred from the property. We experienced days where our trash was never removed- during the summer. The rooms wouldn't cool down enough, there were flies and ants everywhere. It was horrific. No trash bags to tie up the biohazard properly. No escaping it. You're reamed as to how to put in work orders, only for them to never be fulfilled. We waited about 3.5 months, our request was ignored. It's a Snakepit. Amanda is the ringleader and enabler of the alleged happenings in this building. Everyone is walking around on eggshells with her. Her mask slips the second you question anything quality wise, especially with the care of your family member. Some medtechs are unprofessional. Yadira by name, would spend 30 minutes - 1 hr or longer, stepping away from her job- gossiping to an outside agency, about her job, the workload, and other outside staff. Call lights are to be answered within at least 7 minutes. Ours was intentionally ignored for 30 minutes. We followed the direction from Yadira to pull the cord if we needed help. Help never came. Medtechs can and will walk out at random due to being overwhelmed. It was a struggle to have someone consistent with timing or responding to relatively urgent requests for medications. The Caretakers are wonderful, but there are a few that only care about a check. It has been reported that some are allegedly smoking marijuana on the property. It was ignored. This will be reported/has been reported to the state. We *allegedly* witnessed residents who went AWOL, became violent towards other residents and staff, intentional neglect of specific residents, etc. You can't advocate for anyone without facing backlash, or further "othering". It's almost as if you're on the set of Mean Girls and Great Value Greys Anatomy. It's a facade. Spend more time in this building, and you will see everything. The 5 star reviews are more likely than not, from people who haven't spent more than maybe 2 hours in a common area. Give it time. Meals are lacking, and often look like rations. There were nights where they may give you a watery soup with a half burrito the size for a child. Also, not cutting up choking hazards unless specifically requested. We *allegedly* witnessed more than one choking incident. This concern or statement doesn't come out of nowhere. These are observations. The smells of old urine saturated hallways, the favoritism for "newer" residents. It's all performative. Money is the bottom line. I don't need a generic response from Arbors. We raised our concerns for months to no avail. The same will happen to you, the more you advocate for your family or acknowledge shortcomings, or safety/quality concerns.

This review is based on my original application for my husband to be in care temporarily while I…read moredid my own medical treatment and was not able to care for him at home. Without going into detail, I have to say the manager, Assad Zeid, at Arbors Memory Care, really bent over backwards to make it possible for us to afford this temporary care. I worked with him for several weeks to get everything lined up. I did pay the room hold deposit because this seemed like the perfect solution for us. The only reason my husband did not move here was because he was on oxygen and Arbors doesn't allow oxygen at night. This forced me to find a different location. When this happened I was given a refund of the room hold fee with no argument. Very helpful. Tom, the sales manager, even tried to help me find a different facility for my husband when the need for oxygen became a problem for moving to Arbors. I thought that was very helpful. Arbors is a beautiful facility run by very nice people who seem to care about helping us figure out how to navigate this difficult time in our lives. This is a large facility with beautiful outdoor walkways. I was very impressed. I highly recommend Arbors as a memory care facility. If you find this review USEFUL please VOTE!

Our family member lived in the memory care unit at Clearwater at Rancharrah for approximately one year. Initially, things seemed acceptable, but the quality of care declined significantly over time. We ultimately felt we had no choice but to remove him urgently. There appeared to be a serious staffing shortage, and the employees who were there seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the residents were the ones who suffered. During multiple visits, we found our loved one still in bed late in the day because no one had helped him get up since the morning. On more than one occasion, he was calling out in pain and had not been checked on. Personal belongings also went missing multiple times, and when we raised these concerns with the executive director, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. What we witnessed went far beyond occasional mistakes or forgetfulness. We believe it reflected a pattern of neglect toward vulnerable residents who depend entirely on staff for their daily care and safety. The overwhelming sense of relief we felt after moving him out says everything about our experience. I strongly encourage families to carefully consider other options. If your loved one requires attentive, compassionate memory care, I would not recommend this facility based on what our family experienced. We hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

I know in our case that the staff have treated our loved one with respect and kindness from day one. I have had several opportunities to interact with the administrators and each interaction has been helpful and professional. In the course of the year they have implemented several programs that have enhanced the safety and care provided to the residents. Everyone from the front desk to the executive director has been cooperative, understanding and most responsive. The facility itself is beautiful, the food is excellent, and there are all kinds of activities for the residents and their families. I couldn't be more pleased with Clearwater at Rancharrah. Bruce S

After a difficult experience at a fancy assisted living facility it was a great relief to know he was truly being cared for at Good Old Days. They aim for a genial family atmosphere, and they certainly succeed. The team who cared for my father is top notch. There was a short period of adjustment as my father adapted to a new location and new faces, but the care team were so welcoming and proactive in learning his personal needs that he settled in quickly and comfortably. They were equally welcoming to me and my family when we visited. I spent many hours at Good Old Days and can sincerely say I enjoyed getting to know the staff and residents. As his disease progressed they continued to care for him with great kindness and competence. Renate and Dietmar own and manage the Good Old Days group homes with an attentive eye to the comfort and well-being of their residents. She's had some…read morepretty severe health bouts along with hospital and rehabs so many times in the last 2 1/2 years we have lost count.. it's taking a huge toll on her on her health and she won't recover in some aspects, let alone be able to take care of herself and her house at the same time for she lived alone. Everybody at Amy's Eden has welcomed us and treated us like family, very patient with our emotional state and most of all our mothers, within 2 days her blood pressure was extremely lower, she is at ease, she looks great, stress level much lower, no long scared for she is never alone, She has been there 3 months and no trips to the hospital that is amazing right there, she's even putting their address as hers on her outgoing mail, that might not seem like a big deal but it is for anybody who has done this before as we have with grandparents. Don't get me wrong it's been extremely taxing and difficult for her but she's came to accept this life transition and she's stronger and healthier then she has been in a long long time and so very grateful. She is thriving there and the goal is to get her into a independent facility or semi assistant living place but It looks like she's gonna be happy right where she is. She's letting somebody take care of her it's a beautiful thing to watch considering before her whole day consisted of a check sheet with just a few goals... getting out of bed, getting showered, getting to the kitchen to eat, to couch, not falling, and not forgetting to take her meds that's about all she could accomplish in a day and on a good day a load of laundry. She was a prisoner in her own home and so was I and her boyfriend..for I was running two households and taking care of her too. Now she has a much better quality of life and she's so relieved not having to rely on me and her boyfriend for everything, as a mother her guilt in that was huge. I hope this helps the family of somebody that's transitioning or the party that needs to transition..for us we had to change our way of thinking, it's all about state of mind, acceptance and a willingness to let go. I have a new mojo it goes like this ...I can't He can I think I will let Him. Thank you Amy's Eden's Senior Care you all literally saved my mom's live.

It has taken me over a year to be able to write this review…read more During our interview process Deena of Amy's Eden assured our family over & over that this was the place for dad and that the staff was extremely well trained and he would be very well cared for. The home was bright, airy and very clean. My dad lived there for 10 days. On the 10th day he had to be transported to the hospital where he died 4 days later. In his time at Amy's Eden he was overdosed twice. Once due to hospice that we were told we had to use, not by Amy's Eden. Once because the Any's Eden caregiver did not know how to read or fill out the medication log. My step-mom, sister and myself spent the first 7 days at Amy's to help make sure dad was settled and this was the right place for him. In those 7 days we essentially did the job of the caregiver day and night while trying to work with a new hospice regarding medications. On his last Friday a caregiver said it was time to let them do their job and care for him. For $20,000 we sure thought so. We checked in via phone on Sat and Sun and were assured all was well. They claimed he was taking his medications, eating and overall settling in. To say we were beyond thrilled is an understatment. During our visit on Monday we had to immediately call in the hospice nurse who had us transport to the hospital. He was covered in bruises, there was a hole in the wall and they were feeding him food while he was almost completely incoherent. My dad died of aspiration pneumonia complicated by COVID 4 days later. More than one staff member was positive for COVID while being at the house, with no mask, interacting with other staff and the 2 residents. 10 days for $20,000 and no consequences for their actions. Amy's Eden really knows what to say to take advantage of families during a most vulnerable time. If you are looking for a very expensive and quick end to your loved one's life Amy's Eden is the place for you.
