There were times where maybe the toilet overflowed and the water would just be sitting there for idk how long. The staff is very disorganized. There really weren't any activities for those on the memory care side they just sat in chairs all day staring at walls or whatever was playing at the time on the tv. It was like pulling teeth to get them to communicate with the next facility we were moving her to. There was one staff member who took an interest in making sure she was okay and that was very much appreciated. This is the perfect place to leave your loved one if you don't like them.

The activity director, Ande, is a delight. She works there with her dad, who is her equal in fun. It's obvious they love their work and believe in the mission because Ande's grandmothers live there too. I'm so thankful we found Starling at San Jose. Mom is living her best life!

I was later told it was cancelled because I should have 1 session per week. I was truly upset because no one bothered to contact me and say it's cancelled! I went through a lot to get there at that time and this seemed very unprofessional! If you cancel an appt. contact the patient! Those dates were chosen for me. I did not choose the date!
