Each new challenge in dealing with my mother's dementia is met by the staff in a caring and responsible fashion. We are very happy, and frankly blessed, to have found this facility. Pricing is competitive, but the staff attitude makes this a steal in terms of results. My mother is happy and is treated with the level of respect we'd expect to give her ourselves. Mom constantly complained about the food being terrible. She is not a choosy eater and herself was not a great cook so the food must have been terrible. Residents constantly were allowed to harass my mother all hours of the day and night. My mom was a smoker and multiple residents came to her begging cigarettes. We reported this to management multiple times. Their response "they are all adults, they need to manage this themselves. We were very clear that she did not have this capability. We were clear about her alzheimer's/dementia when we moved her in. They assured us they could care for all her needs. The onsite nursing team is a joke. Mom needed ear drops, "we can 't do those-family needs to come in". Could not even give an ice pack when my mom had a bad fall. Did niot notify us when mom's arm wound became infected and had necrosis. Do not place a loved one here. Allowed mom to go outside on subzero days. She suffered two bouts of hypoxia and had to be transported by ambulance. When the ER needed critical information to rule out a stroke the RN did niot return my calls or the ER docs calls. Inexcusable!!

We eventually had to move my aunt into an assisted living facility. Afterward, we received several pieces of mail addressed to one of the caregivers at my aunt's home address. During the time care was being provided, my aunt also experienced credit card fraud. The bank would mail out a replacement card, but it was intercepted and used before it ever reached her. We were never able to identify who was responsible or how it was happening, so we ultimately took POA over all of her finances. It made me suspicious when mail started arriving in a caregiver's name at my aunt's address, even though that person was not a permanent resident of the household. It could have been a coincidence, and I realize something like this could happen with any caregiving company, but it was concerning.
